((I know, I'm evil, but it's fun! I hope. Plus, I figured it's about time Akari did something besides follow everybody around like a chicken with her head cut off.))
EDIT: Chicken with it's head cut off is a saying out here, I apologize it nobody get's it.
Ileana~
She smiled when Carmela transmatted off of the ship. "Don't hurt her. She has no idea." Ileana's ghost warned.
"I won't hurt her. She's proven to be more than just a pretty face." Ileana shrugged.
"That's the nicest thing you've ever said about anybody," her ghost sounded confused. "Don't tell me you have a crush?"
"Oh, hush," Ileana waved a hand at the ghost. "Mutual respect isn't a crush, ghost."
Ghost transmatted them both to the tower. Ileana didn't stop to say anything else to Carmela and Feron. She didn't have anything more to say. Perhaps she'd approach them after she made sure they all got their bounties, but for now she was just going to get payment sorted out. Unfortunately for Ileana, Akari and Roman were already there. And of course, Akari was making herself at home with Cayde and Roman looked like he was speaking to Zavala. Joyous. "Ikora," Ileana smiled warmly, walking over to the warlock vanguard. After a bit of discussion Ikora was able to pull a string or two to get all three guardians their bounties. It wasn't typically what Ikora dealt with, but under the circumstances she did it. Ileana gave her a final thank you before casting an annoyed glance Akari's way.
She wandered over to the Hunter, pulling her away from Cayde just enough so he couldn't hear them. "You might think you've gotten away from me, Hunter, but don't be so cocky. You can only avoid me for so long. You have to sleep eventually." she let go of Akari's arm and turned to go back to Carmela and Feron.
Akari~
She kept a straight, unphased expression at Ileana's threats. Thankfully, neither Cayde nor Athena had heard the threat. Her own ghost had, and he wasn't happy. He manifested next to her, his little shell shaking with anger. "She can't say that to you!"
"She can and she did," Akari set one of her fingers on ghost's little optic. "Don't worry. She doesn't scare me. She shouldn't scare you either. She's just angry." Akari was lying through her teeth. While it was true that it wasn't exactly fear that was sitting somewhere in the back of her mind, she was extremely wary of the Warlock. It seemed that Ileana had plans that had been sabotaged by the return of Roman's light. Plans that she wasn't ready to let go of. "Don't worry about her, she's just my sister. Grumpy as all get out about what happened the past few days," Akari shrugged to Cayde before sitting down on the Vanguard's table. She made sure to be next to Cayde's map instead of on it.
Cayde and Akari worked up a deal on armor, getting Akari something other than that unattractive Vanguard gear. Sure, she ended up with the chest piece, boots and gauntlets, but she got something a little special for the sacrifice of her helmet. Knucklehead Radar was what Cayde had called it. He assured her that it wasn't typical to get something like that from him and that it was more of a reward for not dying on the dreadnaught and only sort of dying on Venus. She kept her cloak, though. It didn't have a hive smell to it, or at least not really, and she liked it. Black, with blue trim and a white aspect of blood. It was unique. Ghost transmatted her new gear to her ship for her so she'd have it when she needed it. "Thank you," she nodded to Cayde and started to wander about the Vanguard hall, talking to ghost. She poked around at the computers that the frames were at when the simple machine weren't working, getting her hand smacked on one occasion for her behavior. She hadn't been aware a frame could even respond with hostility.
