HistoryTrysta was taken from her family at a young during a period of war on her planet between her species, the Kaleesh, against the Yam'rii or 'Huk' as the Kaleesh called them.
During that war the Republic and Jedi sided with the Yam'rii and fought against the Kaleesh people. The Jedi leading the attack against the Kaleesh found Trysta and though her skills would be useful to the Jedi order, and so took her from her home and to the Jedi Temple to be trained, against the wishes of her parents.
As she grew she specialized in the use of twin lightsaber blades, one made with a Dragite Crystal, and the other with a Blackwing Crystal.
She later found the identity of her parents, and came to realize that her father, who had been known as Qymaen Sheelal at her birth, had renamed himself and was now known as Grievous, the leader of the Separatist droid armies. She also learnt that she had been taken from her home without her family's permission, which shook her faith in the honesty of the Jedi Order.
Due to her lack of faith the padawan constantly teetered on the edge of the Dark Side, never staying with the same master for very long. And with her father's identity now known most Jedi would either ignore her or simply steer clear of her all together.
She also had a bad case of a short temper, said to have been an inherited trait, which always proved difficult to control.
On a trip to Arkania she befriended and took back to the Jedi Temple an adult Arkanian dragon, which became her closest companion and most loyal steed.

HistoryCalypsa was given willingly to the Jedi order by her parents once they discovered her force sensitivity. She then was raised in the Temple and has known no other home.
She was always quite a popular youngling, and continued to be so during her padawan years and training. She had no shortage of friends, and would easily open up to other people and encourage them to talk to and befriend her.
She was always one of the top of her class, but always retained her humble attitude, and preferred to spend her time teaching others how to better themselves rather than improving her own abilities.
She so far has taken no padawan, but is keenly looking into the prospect.
