Karkat crossed his arms. He's sure the look-alike Strider was going to tell Hakku pretty much everything that the sprite knew about the crabby troll. If he kept his matespriteship a secret, maybe the bird-strider wouldn't tell anything major. Such as something about the horns. Karkat shook the thoughts out of his head. Who knew? Someone out there could be reading in on the crabby cancers thoughts.

Davesprite tried his best to hide his confusion. He had been poking fun at the princess bride carry style but... They were matesprites? He looked back and forth between the two quickly " Wait... are you not Alpha Timeline Karkat...?" He unintentionally poofed his feathers as he saw Karkat become the shade of a boiled lobster dipped multiples times in hot sauce. What a great joke to use later. Note to self, most definitely later.
