"Why worry about how long we have to walk in such a beautiful place? Freezing and dangerous, but beautiful."

Shakaku raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, but I'm a FireBender. I don't know the meaning of the word patience, plus snow and ice isn't really my idea of a nice cup of tea." She smirked with a lighthearted laugh.

"At least your element is always at your fingertips. Here and on ships I usually have to go without. And that can always drive me up a wall if I'm not careful." The Mole smiled.

"To true but that is why you should keep an earring or a necklace that is made out of earth. And Fire Bending can be completely useless if your wet." She grinned back.

Shakaku raised an eyebrow. "Hey! That was totally not my fault... I... er.. was pushed in...!" She lied trying to cover up her clumsy faults.

Shakaku grinned and nudged The Mole with her shoulder. Her smile softened at the thought that she finally had a friend. One who didn't care that she was a Fire Bender, one who stubbornly wanted to make sure she was okay, and wanted to travel with her. Just the thought of a friend made her heart leap.

Alya walked around aimlessly. She glanced around, not wanting to run into any fire benders. As she walked around the corner she felt as if there might be some other people nearby. She froze. The sound of talking was a little ways off and she became curious. She slunk through the bushes, quietly and quickly. She peeked out from behind a tree to see two teens about her age. She cautiously walked towards them till she was only several feet behind them. "Um, hi." She said wiht a smile.
