The Mole shook himself from his thoughts. He linked arms with Sha and pushed his worries to the back of his mind. Best not think about such things. He told himself.
(Waaaaaah~! Soooo sorry for not posting on here in forever, y'all!! Bunch of other stuff been keepin' me busy! ;~;)
Mae and Kyo peered into the rickety old house and were quickly greeted by a shrill and happy sounding. "Helloo, dearies~!" And a hug from a plump looking raisin of a woman. "Oh my, you two have certainly grown since I last seen ya!" The old lady laughed happily, pinching their cheeks with her wrinkled hands.
Soon the old bat-eyed Mama Ola turned her gaze to the other four young'uns outside of her door. "Oh, you did bring friends! How sweet!" She crowed, quickly hobbling over to greet the teens with a tight hug. "I'm Mamma Ola but you all may call me whatever you please." She said with her happy chiming voice.
Shakaku felt the Mole's arm in hers and she smirked, gently leaning her head against his shoulder. But she jumped slightly when she heard what she thought was a cat yowling in pain. Turned out it was a little white haired woman with a ratty bun sitting atop her head and a crazy set of mismatched brown and blue eyes.
Sha watched as the lady quickly made her way over to her and the others. She wearily gave the Mole a 'Can we pleaaase leave?' stare, feeling a tad uncomfortable with the informality of it all. The girl wasn't used to suddenly receiving hugs from strange old ladies who looked like they should live in a shoe and eat little boys and girls who decided to nibble on her house.
