Moe lifted her head just enough to stare at the clock, eye's glazed over as her eye's followed the hands as they moved around the face of the clock. She sighed and just conitnued to stare at it as the same jock from ealier continued to make fun of her and laugh in whispered tones with his friends. She ran a hand through her hair, moving it enough so that she could fix them with a steely grey gaze.

Balto heard the bell ring but didn't get up.

Jayla stood when the bell rang and began to walk towards her locker. She sighed and through the sharp rock out a window, refusing for it to weigh her down anymore and then looked through her books to make sure everything was there and opened her locker.

Balto got up and walked out.He opened his locker and grabbed his stuff he need.He didn't have a backpack so he just carried his things.He walked into homeroom and grabbed a paper that the teacher was handing out.He read seeing that the first dance was next friday.He shook his head and stuffed it in his binder.

Kerina went to homeroom and took the paper, reading it over curiosily.

Balto walked home.He saw his dads car parked in the driveway next to a pink corvette.Zgreat...He thought and walked in holding the cuffs of his jacket.His father was on the couch and a girl next to him.Balto's father had a beer bottle in his hand along with the girl.Balto turned away,nervous."Boy,Get over here!"Balto walked over and had his arms behind his back."What are you hiding from us?"The girl asked,her name was Julie."N-Nothing."Balto murmered wanting to get away.He ran to his room.He sat in the corner looking out the window.His jacket was on the bed and he looked at the cuts on his arm.His door busted open and his fathers face turned red.He grabbed BAlto's arm and pain soared through it."What is this?!"He yelled motioning to his son's arm.Balto pulled his arm away."It's noting.I just got hurt!"He said but his father didn't belive him.His father took the empty beer bottle,drunk and bashed it against the wall.Pieces flew into his hair and arms.Balto sat in the corner and his father left.Opening his window,he hopped out carring his jacket with him.

Kerina sat outside with a book, glad her father wasn't home, or going to be home for the next 2 days so she could avoid his wrath for a while. It was just her, her brother, and her mom who wasn't home at the moment but at a farm outside of town.

Kerina could hear ehr brother's music blasting from his room on the 2nd floor of their mansion house and hs eisghed, shaking her head.

Balto sighed and glass glistened from his arms and hair.He passed Kerina's house with noticing.
