The kick hit Toni in the stomach, knocking the breath out of her. She started to fall towards the ground. About two yards away from splatting, she caught herself and beat her wings hard, rising towards the Demona again.

Toni was pleased she'd manged to kick him. Suddenly her foot exploded with pain. She looked at it and saw him with his teeth in her foot. Those must be some strong choppers he's got, because even though she was wearing a sneaker red blood seeped out. She threw a kick with her other foot, aiming with the front of it, as you would kick a ball in soccer, at his jaw again. It worked before, why not try again?
