Aurora took Damian's hand as she neared him.

[herondale.]

Damian pulled her from the path and headed back towards the cliff egde. Suddenly, hearing Theo scream something made him go cold. She suddenly fell flat on her face with a loud bang. Suddenly Damian fell forwards, letting go of Aurora. He looked at the ground and saw what looked like weeds or vines sprout from the ground. One sprout up, wrapping itself around Aurora's legs.

Aurora turned to look at Damian and fell over. Biting her lip she tried to get loose.

Damian looked down at Theo who was fighting off weeds that were wrapping themselves up her legs. Damian tore some off his wrists. He had to get to Aurora before the Angels did. He looked behind him as the ANgels got closer. He growled, moving forwards and pulled the vines off of Aurora but as he did, more came.

Aurora was soon pinned to the ground by vines. She lay there trying to rip them off by her shoulders and knees.

[herondale.]

Damian pulled himself off the ground as more wrapped across his back. He dragged himself up beside Aurora and helped her pull the vines away from her shoulders ut they kept coming back. As he pulled more off he looked behind at an Angel who had his hand raised above the ground, clearly controling the vines.

Aurora looked at Damian "Damian, just get out of here."

[herondale.]

Damian was pulled to the ground again but pulled himself back up. "No. I'm not going with out you," he said, pulling more vines off of Aurora. Theo let out a small yell as she got to her feet, kicking more vines away as they tried to stop her.

[Crabbiey]

"Damian, they'll kill you! They won't kill me, take Theo and go!" Aurora said.

Damian growled angrily. He looked back at the Angels who were walking towards them. He gave a frustrated cry before wripping the vines from his legs, grabbing Theo and running away. I'll get you back, Aurora. You can count on it, he thought to Aurora.
