Charlotte | Reef Tribe | Tagging, Lydia, Elizabeth, Claire
Charlie laughed. "Says the girl who found a conch," she teased. She waved at Elizabeth. "Come on over!" she called again, struggling to crack a particularly stubborn scallop open. It took several hits, but she finally managed to crack it. She used the crack to pull the shell open, then slurped happily down the meat inside. When she was human, she'd hated seafood, but as soon as she'd entered the water, she'd craved it. Charlotte supposed it was part of the magic, and a part she was very grateful for.
Ekene | Queen of the Lowcountry Tribe | Tagging Talia, Constella, Augustina
Ekene looked over at Talia, relieved she didn't suspect anything. She started to sing again, an quiet, fast melody to warn Constella they were coming. As the creek got shallower, she swam slower, working her way through the cordcrass and ploughmud. She finally spotted the shallow pool where they slept, and pulled herself into a sitting position, dumping the clump of oysters onto the shore.
"Breakfast," she said to the two others, reaching for a rock to smash the oysters open.
Annabelle Beina | Human | Female | Tagging, Sam
Anna held a stack of flyers against her chest, eyeing the employee warily. A surf shop was a good place to start, she supposed, and she couldn't get cold feet now. She smiled warmly at the boy.
"Hello, my name's Annabelle Beina. That's Bay-na. I'm here today to ask you if you've seen anything odd out on the water."
