Alaska smiled, nodding as he spoke. "Yeah, I guess," she said softly as she watched him for a moment. She just felt bad now that she must have hurt his feelings. She sat down again beside him. "You going to Prom this weekend?" she asked curiously. If he was,t hen she could ask him, or even possibly go as a group with him, Aiden and Carolina.

"Yeah I'm going. You?" Toushiro asked, not even trying to hide his curiousity. He really did want to to go to Homecoming with her, but he was waiting for the right moment, and on the bus while it pulled into the high school is definitely not the right time or place.

"I told you I'd win!" Carolina crowed, but then was squished against the bus' metal wall and the breath knocked out of her. She grinned evilly and managed something close to a shrug. "Maybe. But I think you want to do this cause you want to get close to this sexy body," she joked with a chesire smile. The bus stopped, the doors opened, and teenagers jumped from the seats to get off the crowded and obnoxiously loud yellow whale and into another form of hell: school. Carolina was actually a little dissapointed to get off the bus, since she was very much enjoying this close contact with Aidan.

"I didn't deny that," Aidan chuckled and allowed the students from behind them to pass. He sighed and slowly got up, slinging his backpack over his shoulder. "This bus ride was one of the funnest ever. And, it's all over." He rolled his eyes and grinned at Carolina. "And, onto dreaded school. Ew. Isn't that dance thing Friday? Homecoming is it? I'm still debating on whether that will be worth going to or not. I hate dressing up."

"Yes, I am," she said softly, tucking a strand of her bangs back behind her ear as she watched him for a moment. She felt rumbing on the floor of the bus, knowing that everyone was hauling butt off the bus. "Come on, Toush," she smiled, offering him her hand.

Carolina raised an eyebrow with a smile and couldn't smother the feeling of butterflies in her stomach as she also rose and slung a strap of her rainbow checkers bag on a shoulder. When she heard him mention homecoming, she brightened and said exitedly, "Ohmygod you should totally go! You would like kick a** in a tux-" the red, orange, pink, and blonde haired girl winked "-and it's saturday, not friday. But Toush, Alaska, and I are all going, so thats even more reason you should come!"

Toushiro took her hand as he pulled up his messenger bag (I changed it oh well, I think he'd look better with a messenger bag xP) from the floor and transfered it to his shoulder. He pulled himself up and waited for the other people to pass before the two slipped into the line and walked off the bus. The silverette heard their friends close behind them, so he stopped Alaska and they waited outisde the bus for Carolina and Aidan, their hands still linked.

"See? I don't even know what day it is," Aidan chuckled as he shuffled his bag around slightly on his shoulder as he headed down the steps of the bus. He slouched and groaned. "Why couldn't today be Saturday? I don't think I can last." He sighed and looked back toward the bus, waiting for Carolina. "Who would I go with to that Homecoming thing anyway? A single girl or the whole bunch of you." He noticed that Toushiro and Alaska's hands were linked. "Aw! Isn't that cute!" he cooed in a bright tone. "I knew you two would be a great couple!"

Sukayo squeezed Toushiro's hand gently, not meaning too, but it was upon instinct. Her cheeks heated a bit as Aiden spoke, watching him carefully. "T-Thanks," she managed, stuttering, which was a little kid habit she had grown into, lost, but gained again.

Carolina and Toushiro, both blushed at a different comment from their black haired friend. Toushiro flipped him off and disconnected his and Alaska's hands. Carolina frowned and hit Aidan. "Douche! You shouldn't have said anything. But you...you could go with anyone you wanted. I'm not going with anyone, I was just going to go with Alaska and Toushiro."

"Owww. I didn't do anything worth smacking," Aidan groaned, rubbing his reddening cheek. He scowled at Carolina for a moment, but he couldn't hold it for too long. It was replaced by a smile. "Anyone I want, hm?" He pretended to ponder the thought before dropping down on a knee in front of Carolina. "Carolina," he began, pretending to open up one of those little velvet boxes that would have held a ring. "Will you go to homecoming with me?"
