Ivan took a timid step away from Fern as she approached, holding his breath as he studied her face. The girl had feline ears and a tail and her eyes were an unusually bright shade of green. She seemed...okay, at least he didn't have the urge to turn and run as he normally did when meeting up with others. "Hello..." He spoke quietly, taking comfort from the fact that he wasn't alone with the new girl. She looked about his age, maybe a year under and he watched her curiously, taking his gaze away as the silence grew again. Without paying much thought to it, Ivan reached a hand up and started wiping away the rest of the blood that dotted around his eye, continuing to look away.

"I-I'm sorry....do you want me to leave?" Fern asked, starting to back away, her gaze lowering to the ground in front of her.

Ivan looked up at her as she stepped backwards the way she had come. Did he want her to leave? Sighing, he shook his head. He wouldn't hurt her, he decided. He wasn't buried in panic and the fear was more of a constant tug in the back of his mind rather than something that would push him from his sanity again. She didn't seem like she was one to suddenly attack either. "No, I-" Ivan bit his hidden lip, was it really okay that she stayed? "I guess it's alright..." He glanced at Rose, she wasn't going to turn her away, she'd done nothing wrong. He kept his arms around himself, as if he was holding himself together. It really did feel like he could fall to pieces, after everything that had happened, if he let himself go.

(( No, they are still fighting. Merr is in human-ish form now and he is fighting with Ebony. They are using less powers...Using tools and things now. Ashley sighed slightly. Closing her eyes as her legs swung gently through the air, long strands of her silvery hair falling into her face.

( Zane killed Eric x.x And now Steph is with Zane near Eric's body and Zane's lying to her about loving her... so he can use her for her blood. Zane's a vampire, by the way. ^^ x3 )

Rose's eyes narrowed slightly as Fern began to speak to Ivan, she was slightly over-protective of Ivan, she didn't yet know what had made her like this in the first place. She decided that she wasn't going to look into why she acted like that around him. Watching her closely, Rose took a step closer to Ivan so her black, thick fur was brushing against his dark jacket. Blinking a few times she glanced over at Ebony and Merr, her heart sank almost instantly, why was Merr doing this? Hoping with all her might, she wished that he'd make it through and live, or even better, kill Ebony in doing so.

Rose let out a slight grunt as Ivan was placed on her back. She felt the sheild around her and Ivan, but this time welcomened the bright orb around them. Slowing down to a light jog, she also began to wander how far the shield could stretch. Her eyes widened as she focused her senses on Merr and realised he wasn't moving much at all and was on the ground. "Merr," She whispered, coming to a complete stop and biting her lower lip. "What do we do, Ivan?" She asked the boy on her back and chewed her bottom lip once again. Wanting so badly to see if Merr was alright, but at the same time she needed to protect Ivan. "Hold on." She said before darting back in the direction of Merr. "We're going to get Merr... make him change into human form, then get him also on my back. Please don't stress." She added the last part quickly and pursed her thin, wolf lips.

Zack grinned, "Yes. I love you, babe." He pulled her against him and brushed some of her hair out of the way again. "Just one bite, babe, just one... it won't hurt..." he lied.

Steph's mind whirled with happiness and confusion, "You love me..." She muttered then nodded, "I-I guess. If it won't hurt..." She whispered, wrapping her arms around him, smiling weakly.

Zack grinned, "Yes, I love you..." He let his tongue flicker across the flesh of her neck before biting hard down into her flesh and grinning as blood filled his mouth and dribbled down his chin. After a few moments, he pulled away and licked the two punctures, making them disappear and he kissed Steph's forehead. He didn't love her, he was just using her for her blood. Nothing else.
