Merr rolled his eyes and padded off, his tails lashing out behind him. Even they seemed angry... With a grunt, he turned and sat down with his back to the others. He was not in the mood to socialise right now... It would only end up with someone getting hurt.

Bored Sara shifted back to her semi-human self and walked a little ways out into the field, glancing around quickly at everyone else.

(( Sweet, thanks. Before I start, could you tell me a bit about the area? For example, is the field enclosed? (as in fenced in by those who have created the experiments) Is there much a forest around it? Those kinds of things. ))

[Rose.]

Rose blinked a few times, still completely ignoring Steph and anyone else for that matter. She concerntrated hard before phasing into a sleek black wolf with ice-blue glistening eyes. She didn't bother to tell Steph that she was going, she just darted off towards Merr. Once she was close to him she padded in front of him and sat on her haunches. "Are you alright?" She asked, her blue eyes burning with curiousity and worry. She'd seen the little episode that had occured between him and Ebony a few minutes ago and wondered what had gone on. All she knew is that Eb had made Merr very angry somehow.

Zack made a face at Erik. "We'll see," He grinned and glanced up at the light sky, his mouth was parted slightly so his two large fangs could be just seen. "I wish that none of this had happened... being a vampire and all, would be considered cool by a lot of kids and stuff. But really, it sucks." He muttered sadly, speaking his mind to Erik. He was actually, deep down hurting inside, he missed his family, he missed his little sister that had only turned two. He missed it all.

Merr turned his head to look at Rose, trying to keep himself under control. He blinked at her, cocking his head. "Why do you care anyway? It doesn't concern you..." His breathing was slow and heavy, he was obviously still angry at Ebony, no matter how hard he tried to hide it. "If you must know, yes. I'm alright now, although I still feel terrible thanks to that..." His gaze flicked over to Ebony for a second before returning to Rose.

Distant shuffling echoed loosely through the forested area. Chains rattled upon themselves as they bound tight two scarred hands. Ivan had stayed deep in the wooded areas after being released. He was only recently set free into the area and his hands were tied together with overlapping chains. "Go and ask someone to untie you." A soft yet harsh sounding voice hissed through the teeth of the bound one. "No, no. I can't. . . But maybe. . . Just don't make eye contact." The shuffling stopped near the tree line and many bodies could be seen in the open field. A single tremor shook through the captive's body and he turned away, hissing again to himself.

Sara, feeling a little left out stretched out her wings and flew up onto the branch, and sat down lightly on it.

((Ahhh, it's past midnight and I can't sleep. Just one post and then I'll sign off and go to bed. ^^))

Lysander was cold again. He shivered and curled up in a fetal position under the tree, closing his eyes and pursing his lips. He drew his sweatshirt together and hugged himself, but he could feel the goosebumps prickling along his skin.
Under his fingers, the threads of his sweatshirt were beginning to fade to a washed-out grey color, and the zipper was rusting. He jerked his hands away, then scrambled up into a sitting position and looked around.
There were plenty of people in the clearing and the trees nearby, but Lysander didn't move to go towards them. He wasn't shy, but he wasn't social either. He was almost sure that if he just sat here and fell asleep or something, nobody would notice him. That was the way it often was- he was so quiet, so small, that people's eyes skipped right over him. He was completely unremarkable, and usually unnoticeable- except when it counted to be hard to find. Then, it seemed, there was a bright neon sign above his head blinking "LYSANDER'S RIGHT HERE!" He thought of Daniel and shuddered, partially from remembered horror but mostly from the cold. He inspected his heavily calloused fingertips and sighed silently. Stupid poison.
