Merr growled at her. "Fine." He clenched his jaws together as his shift began, pain surging through his body as his muscles tore apart and connected with others. It wasn't as painful as to demon from human, or from human to demon, that was major reconstruction, this was only simple. Once it was done, he cracked his bones just to make sure they were alright. "Well. I'm human. Enjoy." He spread his feet in a defensive stance, throwing his arms back to retrieve the two daggers strapped to his back.

Ebony smirked and drew her sword. She continued to side-step.

Merr side stepped, matching her foot for foot. His angry stare was fixed on her eyes, a growl sounding from his human throat. Although it wasn't as threatening as when he was in demon form, it was still pretty vicious compared to a normal human. His daggers glinted in the light, the edges clean and the end curving to a beautiful point.

"Oh I'm terrified." Ebony mocked and stepped forward.

[Solanum]

Merr furrowed his brow, frowning. "Well... it's the best I can do as a human. They aren't really all that threatening." He chuckled lightly, a smirk spreading across his lips.

Ebony just narrowed her eyes and took another step forward.

[Solanum]

Merr's eyes hadn't changed. They were still red and pupiless, and filled with hatred for Ebony. "Come on then, or can I use my long bow?" He tapped the beautifully carved curve of his long bow that hung round his body 'protectively'. It had been hand made by Merr and his father, and was more important than everything he owned, except for his daggers.

"Use it then." Ebony snapped.

[Solanum]

Merr was aiming the bow in seconds, moving quickly. He let an arrow fly, smirking as it landed exactly where he wanted it, on the ground between Ebony's feet. "Your move." It was almost as if they were playing chess.

Ebony sighed, picked up the arrow, then she snapped the head off and threw it at Merr.
