"Then don't use your copying power..." muttered Missa, making some of the glowing sparks settle in her hair.

"Well I would, but the fight'd be boring." He dropped down onto all fours and partially shifted back, appearing half human, half demon. It was a weird combination, but he was happy with it. He still had his demonoid weapons, but a humanoid body. "Happy now? Now come on. Fight fairly. I've gone humanoid, so you must stay humanoid."

"No I mean completely Human." Ebony smirked "I'm already in my Human Form." She reverted back to normal "Or are you too scared?"

Lysander wasn't used to having somebody stare at him that long, and it made him a little uneasy. He shifted uncomfortably, holding his hands out at his sides, and pursed his lips. Scared into silence again, he could only shake his head and mouth 'sorry.' What had happened to Tattoo was tragic, he thought. It never should've happened to anyone. The fact that something similar had happened to him didn't make it any better.
He forced himself to meet Tattoo's gaze and saw that she was looking at him kindly, not with the mean, calculating look Daniel had often used. She didn't mean to hurt him. It was all right. He looked back at her and sighed lightly, smiling in return.

Ivan shifted to look back at Merr and Ebony, she'd never stop chasing them, he knew. Not until she got what she wanted...He lifted himself, his legs shaking and begging him to rest but he stumbled up and a few steps towards them, cringing with his own weakness. "Merr, Rose...." Ivan looked back at her, his eye pleading. "Let her take me." His eye widened at his own words but he tried not to let it show. Being able to sit there for even a moment, without Ebony breathing down their necks, made Ivan realize that buried under the physical pain and the stress, was only more pain. It wouldn't stop, not until she had his power. Ebony had put a stop on whatever chance Ivan ever had at getting better, at ever being able to think of himself as normal and he didn't know if he'd ever get around it. Dying may not have been exactly what he wanted but he knew running in circles forever in pain could only prove to be worse...
