Merr closed his ears as he heard Ebony, snarling as he stepped into the light between the two. He opened his jaws wide, allowing them to split four ways like a snakes. A loud hiss echoed from the back of his throat, his backward curved fangs glinting in the light. His crimson eyes darted around, watching for anything and everything but returned to Ebony every time.

Ebony raised an eyebrow at Merr "You still mad at me?" She asked folding her arms.

“What the heck are you talking about?” She asked, thinking that Ebony was crazy but then she shifted back to her human forum and dropped to her knees, suddenly feeling incredibly sleepy. “What are you doing to me?” She asked, her voice coming out as a whisper.

Merr simply stared at her, his fur bristling with the intense rage that could be seen in his eyes. "Leave her alone. She is nothing to do with you." His pelt quivered as he licked his muzzled, releasing his anger on her seemed a really good idea at the moment, but he knew that he must not. "Leave her alone. Leave Rose and Ivan alone. And leave me alone."

Ebony just shook her head "So I'm not allowed to even go for a little walk without being suspected?"

Merr furrowed his brow, his lips curled into a snarl. "Nope." He knew that he was being a bit harsh but what she was doing was unacceptable. "What do you want with Ivan and Rose anyway?" He cocked his head, his angry stare now fixed on her. His breathing became faster and heavier as he became more anxious. He knew something was up, but not exactly what.

"I was just taking a walk! I don't want anything to do with them, I just happened to decide to walk in this direction!" Ebony said and looked at Merr "You wanted my answer didn't you?"

[Solanum]

Merr cocked his head. "Your... answer?" He growled through closed jaws, his ears flicking back. His tails lashed out behind him, displaying his anger in small sweeping motions. Raising himself to his full height, he looked down at her, his head turned slightly to the left so his muzzle didn't block his view. His claws raked gently at the ground beaneath them, waiting impatiently to sink into flesh as he slowly lost his composure.

"You know, from earlier. About wether I like you or not." Ebony stated.

Merr's gaze softened for a moment, but returned to pure rage in seconds. "You don't like me. You don't care about anyone but yourself." He hissed again, spitting furiously. How could she even pretend that she cared. "Wasn't it enough to smash my heart into pieces, don't smash them further." He was weakening, his anger bubbling inside of him.
