Ivan squirmed under the gaze of the two, pulling at his collar and shirt, fighting his will to run. From what he'd learned, running was just going to get you chased, and there was no way he could out run anyone there with him. He couldn't look back up at the pair, feeling quite small before them. Merr's attention drawn to them should've acted as support for Ivan, but that only meant they were worth paying attention to...or at least the new one was. Shifting where he stood, Ivan tried to snake around the tree to break the unicorn's line of sight. He didn't want to be there with them, but after what Amiselle had said he wasn't sure he wanted to be with the others' anymore either. Still, he had to wait to see what Merr would do with the girl.

Both unicorns reared up at Merr, their front legs trying to kick him. Their disguise had been seen through, so they quickly changed to their darker colours, their fangs gleaming as they protruded from their upper jaw. Taka was a beautiful dark bay stallion and Nat a pure black mare with a freisian-like build. Although both were deadly, Merr had faced their kind before. He stood his ground, snarling aggressively as he bared his fangs. This wasn't going to end very well if either side started a fight... The two unicorns were formidable opponants but Merr had the advantage, his own skills and his friends'...

Amiselle

She smiled weakly at Merr, bowing her head in apology. She just hoped that he would regain his trust in her, as she needed him and the rest of her friends. When the two unicorns attacked Ivan, she leapt after him, changing her hands into fire. "Leave." she growled at them, standing beside the demon.

The two unicorns backed down, their fangs bared. They knew they were outnumbered, so they turned tail and ran, slashing a mark on a tree as they fled. It told all that they would be back for their kill... They had marked it, now for the chase.

Amiselle

The girl sighed, turned her palms to normal and glanced at Merr. "We have to get out of here. Maybe if we find Rose and Chase we can go back for the rest. I'm sure Ivan will be happy to get back to his girlfriend." she said, smiling a little at the boy near the end of her speech. "Don't worry. What I said...we don't think that, and never will. You're our friend." she added.

Merr stood up on his back paws, his other two paws on Ami's shoulders. His tongue rolled out of his mouth as he started panting, as if he was a dog. "So which way shall we go?" He cocked his head, whining softly at her.

Ivan stood perfectly still, ghostly blue eye wide and unblinking as he stared after the two fanged unicorns. Why did everything look like it wanted to kill them? Startled back into the present by Amiselle's voice, Ivan gave his attention to her, frowning at what she had to say. He wanted both to return to them, and to stay away because of what she had said...He had believed her so easily because his own feelings were not far off. Merr seemed comfortable with her but that only troubled Ivan more; he didn't trust Amiselle so what was he supposed to think of the demon? He didn't voice his concerns though, and nodded to the girl. He didn't want to be stuck where they were and simply agreeing would hopefully keep from stalling.

Merr lowered himself to the ground and looked back at Ivan, asking if he wanted a ride. He could probably carry Ami as well, but he didn't think Ivan would be very comfortable with it. "Sorry Ivan. Male unicorns are alright, but the females are the hunters. A single horned animal is a sign of death, I should have been more careful." He sighed, his head, ears and tails drooping. He was ashamed of himself, Ivan could have gotten hurt...
