[Nostalgia]

"You'll both be better if I go." murmured Ami, her body shimmering until it turned to air and flew away. As she moved, she didn't think. She didn't want to realise how much it hurt to leave them like that. But she had to. They didn't want her there, they didn't need her. Both of them were convinced that she was evil and cold-hearted, like at the start of their journey, when they treated her like a brat and never trusted her. She kept flying, not even realising that after a few minutes she fell to the ground and just curled into a ball there, still invisible as air.

[Rose.]

A smile pulled up Zack's plush lips as Claires' response to the gentle tap on her nose was a light giggle that flowed softly through the air. "Exactly, my dear." Was his response to her words- another smile lit up his pale face as he spoke. As Claire entwined her slender fingers within his own softly, he let out a gentle exhale and rested his pronounced cheek gently on the top of her head. There was no place else in the universe that he would have rather been.

All of this sudden affection and care came crashing upon him suddenly over the while he'd been sitting there with Claire. It still puzzled Zack greatly as to why he felt like this, but slowly, the sadistic and leathal thoughts were fading from his mind- and for that he was glad.

Merr looked back at Ami, obvious pain in his eyes as she left. "Ami..." He sighed and started to shift his body, it was better that way. His bones cracked and popped out of place, moved around then popped right back. He bit down hard on his lip to stop himself from crying out but all it did was drip blood onto the floor as his fangs cut down through his lips. Finally grabbing his jaw and locking it into place, he raised a paw and slashed at Ivan's bindings, carefully putting a claw under the blindfold and ripping it. Tilting his head at Ivan with his ears perked up, he asked if he was still alright, then wheeled round to offer him a ride.

As his blindfold came off, Ivan was forced to squint against the light and the sight of his sickly pale left eye was hazy for a moment. Rubbing a now free hand over it, Ivan realized Amiselle was gone, left as if she hadn't been there at all. He was certain it was for the better; he felt betrayed by the girl, to say the least. "Where are we going...?" Ivan asked, his voice too quiet to sound curious at all. He wanted to be happy about being out, and he thought he was, but after what had happened he didn't feel up to sounding cheery. Teetering towards Merr, Ivan pulled himself onto the demon, taking hold of his fur to hold himself steady. Once he was sure he wouldn't fall off, Ivan leaned forwards, his one eye clouded with concern. "...I'm fine." It was meant for both Merr's ears, and his own.

[Rose.]

Rose's blue eyes flickered between Chase and Avio as they exchanged words. Pursing her lips tightly, she decided to let them work this thing out. After all, she was pretty useless when it came to this kind of thing. Hell, she was useless when it came to nearly everything. Looking away and blocking them out gradually, she gasped aloud suddenly when she felt something extremely sharp penetrate the flesh on her neck. "Wha-?!" She gasped, bringing her hand up, she was about to bat whatever was digging into her away absently. Then she realised it was Chase.

He was removing her chip, at least that's what she hoped he was doing. Pain shot through her and blood trickled down her arm as he dug even further with whatever tool he was using. Squeezing her eyes shut, she endured the pain until she felt a different sensation. This time, it wasn't packed with pain and sharpness, it was a tingling, numbing sort of feeling. Opening her eyes, she blinked in confusion just as the feeling disappeared.

Raising one hand to her slender neck, she ran her fingers over the place where the sensations had tooken place and felt... nothing. "Chase," She mumbled, "You're amazing." Looking around, she realised Avio was gone. A frown tugged at the corners of her plush lips and she opened her mouth to ask of her disappearance, when Avio suddenly landed before them with what looked like food.

The sight of food made Rose feel at unease in her stomach, she didn't want to eat, their friends were in trouble, and she couldn't bring herself to feed. Shaking her head in a motion that was barely noticable, she swallowed the lump that had risen in her throat and averted her gaze. Thinking about their friends made her snap into thinking about how they'd rescue them. As much as she wanted to burst into the building in her werewolf form and rip every person to shreds until she found Merr, Ivan and Ami, she knew that was the wrong take on the situation. They needed to find any other people that had been spared, and they needed to do it quickly.

"I think..." Rose murmered softly, "I think we need to go and find the other spared experiments. Right now." She pushed some strands of dark hair out of her eyes and brang herself to her feet quickly.

And Maybe they could go and look for the other experiments that hadn't been taken and find Merr, Ami & Ivan? }

Avio shrugged. "I guess... So where should we look first?" She sighed, shaking her wings out. "I would say split up, but that is only if you two feel like it would help... If not then I suppose we could go together, discreetly(Sp?)." A small frown crept onto her lips, she had always prefered to work alone, in the air, but it was up to them, as per usual. Not that she really minded, she wasn't used to calling the shots.

Merr smirked at Ivan, purring softly. The truth was that he had no idea, but he didn't want to frighten Ivan, so he just purred in reassurance. Then, with a small jump, he broke out into a run, not sure of his surroundings. Resisting the urge to jump at everything around him, he kept moving in the direction he had leapt. The scents were all strange, none of them familiar... It confused himso much...

Ivan held tightly to Merr's fur, feeling the rumble of his purr under his hands. There was no answer to his question, but already he'd almost forgotten about asking it. Ivan had no idea where they were, or how far they had been taken from the others and though he would have liked to know, he was distracted by the blur of scenery as Merr ran. He could feel the demon's muscles bunching every few bounds, as if he was going to leap out, but he only ran straight ahead. To Ivan, it did feel like Merr knew where he was going and he didn't doubt his friend, even without an answer. He assumed they would try to get back to the others, or at least find any others like themselves; it was clear now that there were quite a few more than he first thought.

Claire closed her eyes, enjoying the bliss of the moment. A million 'what if's could have run through her head, but she only thought about how all the world was right. A sudden thought hit her at a suprising speed.

"You know, I've always wondered what it would be like to have a boyfriend. Someone who would call me "sweetheart" and"babe" and a million other names. Someone who would be by my side, forever and always. And... I've never been on a date before. Never had a first date, first kiss, first boyfriend, all that good stuff."

Claire stopped talking. "Heh. I can't believe I'm telling you all this. I must sound so stupid. I mean, I never had a boyfriend when I was a human. I... wasn't that cute back then to others. Ahhh! What am I saying? I really do sound stupid," Claire said. Her bottom lip pulled into a pout, and it began to tremble as she thought about how dumb all the stuff she had just said was.

Merr slowly skidded to a halt as he scented the air, a small growl instinctively echoing from his throat.-A small rabbit raced by his paws, making him forget about Ivan, and chase aftr it hungrily.It couldn't match his pace, so met his snapping jaws instead. Blood trickled down his maw as he crunched down onto it, savoring the taste.
