Merr growled at her, but made no other signs of aggression. "What do you care. You spend half your time protecting Ivan from me anyway! You don't trust me further than you could throw me... And considering my weight, that is nul." He scowled at the two... But despite his words, no hatred was present in his eyes. Just grief, and pain.

Ebony tought for a moment, true she worked by herself but she did sometimes prefer to get someone else do to work that she thought would be too risky for her. Besides if Merr was completely useless she could just use him as entertainment "...Alright, you can join me." In truth 'join me' in Ebony's mind 'be my slave' or something along those lines. It was perfect to watch this break-up, it made them so much weaker.

[Rose.]

Rose shook her head at Steph, this was not the time for either of them to have a complete breakdown. Steph's words made tears run down her face, but she couldn't give in to the urge to cry out. "S-Steph, get behind me with Ivan. Please. We'll sort this out later." She murmered to her, and turned her large werewolf head to Merr. Eyes widening. "I trust you! More than you obviously think! If I had to make a list of people I trust with my life, you would be near the top!" She squeaked, why did he think she didn't trust him? "If I was to die, I'd want you to protect Ivan and the rest of us from Ebony. You. I trust you with my damn life! Never say that I do not trust you!" She turned to Ebony as tears trailed from her eyes and disappeared into the thick, black fur that covered her wolf body. "Shut the hell up!"

Merr nodded, a growl rising from his throat. "But mark my words Ebony... If you treat me like a dog, I'll bite the hand that feeds me..." He wasn't going to take any cr@p from her, not right now. This was bad enough as it is... But they were better off without him. Rose had Ivan, Ami had Chase, he was always the dangerous one, the one alone. He turned back to Rose, cocking his head. "That's only if I wasn't the one to kill you..." He looked away, sighing. "Why is it that you wouldn't sleep while I was like this? This is my normal form... You obviously don't trust me enough... I could understand if someone was bleeding heavily or was running, but no..."

Steph nodded weakly at Rose and stood slowly on weak legs. Taking slow steps she moved and stood behind Rose, "What's going on?" She whispered to her, looking at Ivan with a frown on her face. She let the tears flow down her cheeks, but silently wiped them away hoping they would go unnoticed. She glowered at Merr and took a small step forward, "Look. I don't know who you are or whats going on, but what I do know is that I don't like people talking like that to Rose." She shouted, her tears no longer an issue.

[Rose.]

Rose gulped and looked hurt towards Merr. "I didn't sleep before, because I was afraid Ebony would come back... and I didn't want you to have to fight her alone. I don't want to see you in pain again. You know it kills me to see you, or anyone else of my friends in pain." She mumbled, every word that came out of Merr's mouth was like a single dagger to her stomach each time. "If you join Ebony, you realise that you'll have to kill me." She said, tears still running down into her fur and dampening it slightly. "Because, I'm not going to let you get to Ivan. And if you want to get to him... you know you're going to have to get through me. Can you kill me?" She asked, her eyes full of pain for her friend that meant so much to her that was slipping through her fingers like sand. And all she could do about it was try and reason with him. And that wasn't working too well. She nudged Steph back with her tail slightly. She didn't want her to get hurt.

Ebony soon found her way inside Ivan, they were paying no attention to her. At all, they were just upsetting eachother. Which was really rather amusing. She found her way through Ivan's bloodstream and into his brain, she then started to use telekinesis, but slowly. She didn't want to found out, not yet anyway. They'd stopped her too many times. Slowly but surely she started to draw in Ivan's power, but now it was slower it was much less painful and really quite hard to even notice. Until Ivan felt tired he wouldn't know, then he'd faint and die. Ebony smirked to herself at that prospect. But this would take a while so she'd have to be patient, one of Ebony's many downsides. She'd always been impatient, very impatient.

Merr looked away from Rose, growling at Steph. "You don't know who I am, you don't know what's going on... Just leave me alone... You don't know how painful it is for me to do this..." He curled his lips into a snarl at her, his ears pinned back against his head. He wasn't in the best of moods, he didn't need those that didn't know him moaning too...
