((God, I'm getting good at keeping role plays silent. >.< Sorry guys, I would've replied last night... but I had a lot going on.))

Charlie nodded slowly at Ivans words, he didn't see his cross look, he was focused on the beast who went by the name of Merr. Pursing his lips, his heart raced at the sight of the demon and the thoughts of what he could do to them. His eyes widened as he smashed himself into a tree, his heart racing even further and fear coursed through him as he watched.

Rose gulped and watched Merr, she distantly listened to Ivan and Charlie speaking quietly with eachother, and even she could nearly taste the fear in the air. Watching Merr smash himself into the tree made her slightly confused, she frowned and padded backwards a few steps so she was closer to Ivan and Charlie.

"Nice," Zack nodded, "Now I really wish I could do something like that. That's pretty awesome." He said again and pursed his lips, rubbing his head again from where he'd hit it several times. "Hm... Maybe you shouldn't ram me into trees so hard next time?" He suggested and shrugged.

Ebony just rolled her eyes "No, I'll ram you harder. Why do you seem to think that I'll go easy on you?"

Ivan sighed, relieved. Having her bruised was still not okay with him but at least nothing was broken, and there was no blood to speak of. At least she was still...there. "Th-That's good...I was-" His breath was forced out of him as he felt Rose's sudden embrace and he pulled his arms away from himself, wrapping them around Rose and bringing her closer. "-worried." He finished, colour returning to his usual pale face. His heart beat skipped and began racing and the blush that had crossed over his cheeks deepened as he wondered if she'd hear the wild beating, it seemed deafening to him. "T-Thank you, Rose..." He stuttered, trying desperately to keep his breathing steady when his heart refused to be. "...For breaking my chains" Had she not freed him in the beginning...well, he didn't want to think about where he'd be. Ivan shifted his gaze behind Rose to Charlie who was still shaking. He couldn't really blame him, if Rose wasn't there he'd be doing just the same. "It...yeah..." He muttered in an answer to his question. Ever since he'd been brought to the forest he found himself stuck in similar situations all the time, none of them any better than what had just happened...

Rose smiled as Ivan wrapped his arms around her, a light pink of her own touched her cheeks lightly. Being werewolf, she could hear things that normal humans couldn't, and right now, Ivan's heart-beat was racing quite fast. Which made a smile tug at the corners of her lips again. Smiling even more so when he mentioned her breaking his chains... and that he was grateful. She let her mind wander back to when she did, it had all been kind of weird back then. She'd felt so unsafe, and was always on complete guard, even though you'd not think it. Now, she felt completely safe around her new friends, and even though she was still slightly on guard incase anything sudden happened, she didn't have to be fully like before. She managed to block out Ami's and Chase's flirting, and then scowled slightly as she looked over at Merr who looked like he'd explode of jealousy. Frowning, she watched as he phased and it didn't go so well. Her blue eyes widening as he half-phased and looked like something from a horror movie. Steph clearing her throat made her rip her eyes away from Merr and see her, her eyes widening even more. "Steph?" A slight smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she watched her. One question played around in her mind, though. She hadn't seen Erik since he stormed off earlier... where was he?

"It's Charlie..." He muttered to Ami before she started to flirt with Chase. Charlie caught Ivan's gaze, and he bit his lips. Forcing a nervous smile. His attention was snapped to Merr as he phased and his jaw dropped slightly. "M-M-Merr...?" He asked, eyes widening hugely. He'd managed to remember the demons name from before. And he had to keep in mind that he was safe. Otherwise he'd probably scream and run in fear from the creature that seemed as if he belonged in children's worst nightmares.

Zack shrugged, "Okay then. You're choice." He smirked, "I really have no idea..." He muttered finally before turning and beginning to walk in the opposite direction of her out of pure bordem. Stifling a yawn, things had become quite boring for him. No fun to have. If he was still a human, he'd be doing something completely stupid with his friends... well, he couldn't really do that with his friends. His friends had been taken with him to be experimented on... they hadn't made it. Frowning slightly at the thought, be pushed it away and thought off draining some random.

Merr smirked as much to try and hide his pain as he shifted his throat properly. It was the best he could manage with his upper jaw only, mimicing being terrified just to improve the act. "Oh no, lock your doors and windows... I might eat your children... Use their bones for toothpicks and I don't know, use their blood as mouthwash?" He rolled his eyes, grabbing his jaw and snapping it into place with a loud crunch of bone. "That's better. I can talk properly now, without that stupid clicking noise." He would work on setting himself right bit by bit, there was no rushing these things.

Ivan watched as a smile played over Rose's lips and he took a moment to curse the collar that covered the lower half of his face. Although usually he was grateful to be able to hide behind it, it was cutting off his own smile and preventing him from leaning in any closer...Ivan's train of thought was pushed off course as Amiselle spoke his name, introducing him to Chase. With reluctance he dropped his arms, taking Rose's hand instead and turned to get a better look at Chase...or Will. He was curious about the boy, but not enough to speak up and say hello, they started talking amongst themselves again anyways. Apparently he was already well acquainted with Amiselle, they acted as if they'd known each other forever and maybe they had but Ivan didn't try to listen in on their conversation. Merr's obvious discomfort had him switching his focus to the demon and he watched in horror as he failed to shift properly. "Merr?" He squeaked, quickly dropping his gaze, away from his misshaped form. He paid no mind to Steph, even when Rose said her name beside him. He was listening very closely as Merr threatened to eat children and use their insides for whatever he needed and Ivan was biting his lip, inwardly questioning if the demon was being serious or not...He didn't doubt Merr's ability to do such things.

Merr smirked at Ivan, chuckling slightly. "You should see your faces..." He shook his head, silencing his laughter as he attempted to shift his hands into paws. Again, his discomfort shone through, his fingers widening into paws but staying independant like fingers. Claws grew from where the nails were, ripping through his skin, causing him a great deal of pain. But eventually both hands were done, next were his feet, just as painful, although it ran smoother, only his right foot getting stuck halfway.
