Ivan sighed, relieved. Having her bruised was still not okay with him but at least nothing was broken, and there was no blood to speak of. At least she was still...there. "Th-That's good...I was-" His breath was forced out of him as he felt Rose's sudden embrace and he pulled his arms away from himself, wrapping them around Rose and bringing her closer. "-worried." He finished, colour returning to his usual pale face. His heart beat skipped and began racing and the blush that had crossed over his cheeks deepened as he wondered if she'd hear the wild beating, it seemed deafening to him. "T-Thank you, Rose..." He stuttered, trying desperately to keep his breathing steady when his heart refused to be. "...For breaking my chains" Had she not freed him in the beginning...well, he didn't want to think about where he'd be. Ivan shifted his gaze behind Rose to Charlie who was still shaking. He couldn't really blame him, if Rose wasn't there he'd be doing just the same. "It...yeah..." He muttered in an answer to his question. Ever since he'd been brought to the forest he found himself stuck in similar situations all the time, none of them any better than what had just happened...

Merr smirked at Charlie, his eyes sparkling with amusement, this guy had never lived... "Come on. A little danger is good for you. Keeps you on your toes. Or paws in Rose and I's case." He smirked at her, chuckling softly. "I'm glad you're all okay. If I had hurt you... I would never have forgiven myself..." He knew that they all knew that he was telling the truth. It had been proven in a situation before. He hadn't forgiven himself for the last time, this was no different.

"I'm...an old friend." replied Chase, smirking and winking at Amiselle.
"Oh, yeah, Will, Chase, whatever, this is Rose and Ivan. I have no idea who that guy is." said Amiselle, smiling slightly and pointing to each person as she introduced them.

Charlie nodded slowly at Ivans words, he didn't see his cross look, he was focused on the beast who went by the name of Merr. Pursing his lips, his heart raced at the sight of the demon and the thoughts of what he could do to them. His eyes widened as he smashed himself into a tree, his heart racing even further and fear coursed through him as he watched.

Rose gulped and watched Merr, she distantly listened to Ivan and Charlie speaking quietly with eachother, and even she could nearly taste the fear in the air. Watching Merr smash himself into the tree made her slightly confused, she frowned and padded backwards a few steps so she was closer to Ivan and Charlie.

"Nice," Zack nodded, "Now I really wish I could do something like that. That's pretty awesome." He said again and pursed his lips, rubbing his head again from where he'd hit it several times. "Hm... Maybe you shouldn't ram me into trees so hard next time?" He suggested and shrugged.

Ebony just rolled her eyes "No, I'll ram you harder. Why do you seem to think that I'll go easy on you?"

Merr frowned at Chase. "A friend eh?" Instinctively he tilted his head upwards slightly, putting his ears into position. He was lying, they had been more than friends. That he could tell from his heart beat. "You know, trying to lie to a demon doesn't work. You can tell me. Who were you to eachother? I'll be fine with it." He shrugged, smirking. He didn't care, as long as the feelings were gone now... If they weren't... He would soon force them out. He wasn't one for competing, he liked to win, even if it meant fighting dirty.

"Nothing..." started Chase, smirking and reaching over to ruffle Ami's hair.
"...And everything." finished Amiselle, laughing and trying to tidy up the mess on her head. She picked a water bubble from it, glaring playfully at Chase and throwing it at him.
Chase just moved the water back, splashing it on Selle's face.
Ami wiped the water from her cheeks, laughing again and blowing back Chase's hair with a gust of wind.

Merr scowled at Chase and Ami, feeling a pang of jealousy as he watched them. They seemed so happy in eachother's company... To tell the truth, it upset him slightly. As he looked away, he let out a sigh, frowning. "Great... I'm happy for you..." He attempted a whine, he had really been in his demon form too much... But he felt better in it, like nothing mattered... So he dropped down onto all fours and began his shift, but because of his emotional state, it didn't go very well. His jaw once again hung, his hands and feet not shifting at all and only half his tail appearing, the rest only bone with little scraps of flesh attached. <Great... Now I look even stupider...>

Steph watched the reunion in shock and jealousy. She didn't know the girl, Amiselle, but already she didn't like her much. Ami and Chase seemed to have some chemistry, which only made her more jealous. She cleared her throat, hoping to get some sort of attention,

Merr looked back at Steph, fighting the urge to growl. He knew that he was frightening enough as it was, at the moment anyway, so he decided not to frighten her further. Instead he merely blinked at her, trying to ask her what she wanted, as he knew that he couldn't talk at the moment. His throat hadn't fully shifted, his vocal chords still a bit off.
