The kids at Wammy's house have been dying. It started with one boy, annd everyone thought it was a coincidence.

After all, a heart attack is hardly suspicious, right? But one every week is. And if a kid dies every week in an
orphanage for geniuses, it won't go unnoticed, or more importantly, undealt with.
So a group of them stood forward and began investigating. And really, there was only one course of action they
could see to begin their investigation. Whoever was causing their deaths, they had to be in the building. And so the
first immediate suspects are, of course, the other students.
And they're completely correct, the killer is another student. But this student also has a group of followers, who
believe that the victims deserve to die. And of course, the killer has a shinigami at their shoulder. They haven't
yet told the followers how he kills, but has them all working to find out the real identities of the detectives.
For they need to punished, right?
So you can pick whether to play a detective or a follower. I will also allow people to play the killer and the
shinigami, but it's on a first-come first-served service. I will give out those roles in order of who requests them.
The roleplay will begin just aftfer the news of the third death, when the detectives form and the followers
are animatedly discussing the new death.

1.Common Sense
So, this basically means that all more than likely banned things are, on every level, banned. Just because I don't put down that, I dunno, you can't kill another person's character without permission, doesn't mean it's ok for your character to go off on a murdering rampage. So think before you post things like that and ask yourself if it's really ok. If you're in doubt, feel free to PM me. This also includes Tess' rules, people!
2.Spelling and Grammar
One of my pet peeves is bad grammar. My friends call me a grammar ninja, and that I am. I totally understand typos and... *shudders* autocorrect. We all fall victim to such things. But I will not accept text talk, or illegible posts. You have been warned...
3.God-modding, Powerplay, Perfect Characters.
No, no, and no. These are all things that make roleplays awful and boring. So, I don't want to see anyone controlling other people's characters, after all, where's the fun in that? I also don't want anyone magically knowing everything, or if we get trapped or somethigg, I don't want a character magically having the key, saving us all and gallivanting into the sunset happily. Chances are, this person would get a punch in the face from my character. And I don't want characters that are 'perfect, and wonderful, and pretty, and fabulous, and beautiful, and amazing, and gorgeous, and stunning, and modest'. No, your not. Everyone has flaws and weaknesses, no exceptions.
4.Characters and Their Sheets
So, I look for pretty detailed sheets. I don't want every little detail of course, (I've seen character sheets that include shoe size...) but enough that I can get an idea of your role play ability. I don't care how it looks, I can be way too lazy to code my sheets at all sometimes, but I want something in there so I can get an idea of your roleplay skill. I also want a good idea of how your character looks. If you can't find a picture, use a description, I won't mind. Also, feel free to join as detectives, followers, the killer or the shinigami. All of these roles will be up on the characters post so you can check what's open there. And yes, we will be joining in alphabetical order.
5.Activity
I don't need you online every second of every day of every week of every month of every year, but a post more than once a week would be nice. If you play a lot of characters, say three plus, I want you on a little more, because you'll be interacting with more people, and you don't want to leave them hanging. So try to stay as active as you can. If you're going somewhere, let me know. That way, I'll know why you're not posting.
6.Posts
So, there are a couple of things about posts. I don't care if they're pretty, that's not something I care about. But, first off, make sure it's obvious when your talking OOC. I don't care if you use (this) or ♥|♥()((this))()♥|♥, just make sure I can tell the difference. Also, swearing. I would love to say 'feel free to swear away! I don't care!'. However, that is against roleplay rules. So, you can use mild language, but nothing worse than crap. (You can also use illegible symbols like "£%$£"$%£$%^&^&%£. I don't £$%&*&%$£ care.)
7.Speed
Don't move at lightning pace. I don't want to leave for five minutes to grab a sandwich, come back and find we've moved a hundred and two pages. I'm not going to set a page limit in my absence, after all, that's hardly fair when other people are absent. So, I don't want more than a page with just two people, so after that you can move to pm.
8.Recaps and Reposts.
Say everyone is online, except this one roleplayer who's away, I dunno, flying a dragon through Ireland and saving the universe armed only with a toothpick. When this roleplayer returns after saving the earth, we could have moved on another ten pages without them. So, this person will then ask for a recap. Give it to them. Even if you don't know much, give them what you do know. It might help, you never know. Same to reposts. If you're roleplaying with this toothpick-armed badass, then quote your last post to help them out.
9.Romance and Such.
I'm not a fan of romance. Never have been. But I'm not going to completely ban it. If you really want to be in a relationship, fine. But it's not a main plot line, it'll be a side story. Like Harry and Ginny in Harry Potter. And no intimate scenes whatsoever. I just don't accept them.
10.Enjoy Yourself!
No point in joining a roleplay that'll bore you! If things get slow, let me know and I'll throw in a band of bad ass ninjas or something to shake things up. Enjoy!

mortem likes sweet beverages, such as cakes, fizzy drinks, biscuits, chocolate, etc, and will tend to just not be too bothered to do anything, without them. {her obsession with sweet things is like ryuk and apples}

He never sits in seats, and prefers to sit cross-legged on his skateboard. He wears the same outfit scene in the picture and doesn't change it. His hair is a dark shade of purple and he has a habit of chewing on his headphone wire when he's thinking.

History:
His parents died too early in Ashton's life for him to remember them. They were lab researchers, and a pair of highly intelligent individuals. When they died, he was quickly contacted by Wammy's House, who'd been in contact with Ashton's parents in interest of their work, and took Ashton under their wing quickly. He had a couple friends at Wammy's House and was relatively happy there.
Personality:
Aster isn't as anti-social or reserved as a lot of the other boys at Wammy's House. He's is the kind of guy who's physically incapable of taking anything seriously. He makes a joke out of everything and lives in a chilled, relaxed way, which is pure hell on his teachers. He's an optimist, and loyal to those he considers friends. He likes reading, mainly fantasy, and going outside, but living in Wammy's House there aren't many places he can go.
Strengths and Weaknesses:
He's a thinker, like most people at the orphanage, though not so much as some. He's good with people, and his peppy, up beat attitude can light almost any mood. He can also be quick and agile when he needs to be. However, he's quick to act and doesn't think of consequences before acting on an instinct.

He always wears his coat. always, inside, outside, summer winter... he never takes it off. He also has this thing with fire, and he can become staring at a flame transfixed for hours. He always sits with his legs curled up behind him, and he has a problem with his heart which occasionally causes a temporary collapse. He's always back up in a couple of minutes though.

History:
He didn't get to Wammy's House like some others did. He lived with his parents, and older sister, and they were a relatively happy family.Until they were caught in a car crash when Blair was eleven. He was the only one to survive, and it caused his heart problem. He was sent to a state orphanage, where he seemed to frighten and intimidate everyone there, even the staff. He ended up shutting himself away until Wammy's House heard about him and had him transferred there. He's been settling in for three years now. When the deaths started, he immediately thought it was a stroke of luck, but only because the deaths were those of charges in the orphanage that had antagonized Blade from he arrived.
Personality:
He's a naturally hostile and sarcastic person, always fast to come off with a smart remark. He's incredibly cynical and sarcastic, often making fun of a person without them even knowing it. He has a constant thirst for knowledge, and if there's something he doesn't know, he sets out to find it. He makes a point to make everything his business, and lets nothing get in the way of an answer. Though, for all his attitude, thanks to his condition he's an incredibly easy bully target and that is often exploited.
Strengths and Weaknesses:
He's determined, for one thing. If he wants something done he gets it done and very little can get in his way. He's also shameless, and any attempts to insult or humiliate him he just takes in his stride. However, his condition is a certain down fall, and his physical strength isn't much to shout about either. While he is quick and flexible, he can be easily taken down by brute force.

Follower, though not devout. Just believes it's right.

quirks ; he suffers from tics which were often pointed out by others, he also will tend to lick his lips a lot when anxious, also when he's thinking he often will tap constantly.
addiction ; small, fiddly objects.
history ; nico has always been an odd boy, he couldn't speak until he was five, he never did like people much, and he tended to have sudden fits and he also would become unresponsive at time. there was also the fact that he had been referred to a therapist by doctors when he was only seven. unfortunately, a few years later, when he was nine years old, his parents died in a sudden house fire caused by a criminal who was never caught after that, so he was sent to wammy's, because his parents had wanted him to go there when he was at the correct age, or when they passed away.
personality ; generally, nico is a calm and solitary boy who isn't fond of being in the center of attention. he is intelligent and rather strategic if it comes to sticky situations, though he isn't all too skilled in being in a team and doesn't usually try to speak his mind if others are talking so his ideas and plans are usually kept to himself. nico is quite the introverted boy and is more often than not sat with his nose in a book and it usually listening to music while reading. despite coming off as the calmest person someone could meet, his music taste usually consists of things such as rock, alternative rock and just generally things in which seem to link into those genres. but, despite all of this,nico is quite curious about lots of things, though he prefers to just stay as someone who only observes from a distance, in which makes him an extremely observant person. he is loyal to his friends and is honest with them but if his temper is pushed he can make a few rude and sarcastic remarks though usually regrets it afterwards.

though, that was only one half to his complex character. nico is actually simply one to bottle up his feelings, and if he were to actually speak his mind he'd come off completely and utterly different. he is more than easily irritated though he bites his tongue and doesn't retaliate and he just generally stays on the calm side. he is actually fairly unstable when it comes to emotions and mentally, more than often suffering mood swings though these almost only ever occur when he is alone or if he's pushed to his limits. these swings either leave him in an emotional wreck where he will be tearful and terrified of most things, or he may go into a violent state where he snaps at nearly everyone who interacts with him and will resort to violence if they don't listen or do as he says. it is rather difficult to pull nico from these states and it requires a massive amount of effort to do so - though if he falls unconscious or is knocked out then that recollects his thoughts and will return him back to his normal state.
strengths and weaknesses ; nico is very intelligent, like the other kids, though perhaps more intelligent than them, however, he tends to never speak up and will not let others really know his true potential. he also has coulrophobia {fear of clowns}, haphephobia {fear of being touched} and pyrophobia {fear of fire}.
