Maddy nodded slightly. When they had made it to the bottom of the stairs, there was a similar book case, except it was missing a book. She carefully placed the book in the spot that was empty and the door at the top of the stairs closed. "This room also makes a great safe room," she said as she walked towards the weapons.

Deuce nodded lightly, "I can see why." He said as he glanced around.

Maddy's eyes wandered around the room until she spotted a grappling hook. She went to get the weapon from the wall, and hoped no guards happened to need more ammunition or a new gun. "Here you go," she said as she handed the grappling hook over to Deuce. "Use your wish wisely," Maddy told him as she went to retrieve the book. She then did so and left the cellar.

Deuce gladly accepted the grappling hook with a smile, "Why thank you princess, I shall be sure to do just that." He said with a nod as he followed her out.

Markus chuckled. "No, China and America were two different things back then, there was no American State of China." he told her. "Why don't you keep reading to learn more about it?"

Bree flipped through the pages, reading sentence by sentence and sounding out words, assuming the meanings of the ones she didn't know. " Hmm... I keep getting confused on this letter! Dge... How is that a letter?"

Markus watched her read the book, smiling at her progress. He frowned at her question though, slightly confused. "Where? Could you point it out?" he asked, looking over at the pages.
