"Huh?" She followed. Keeping quiet, she looked around curiously. "What's wrong?" She whispered.

"Didn't I tell you not to say anything?!" Rain hissed, running into an alleyway. The man, still in wolf form, was gaining on them.

She followed, frowning, and felt danger creeping over her. She whimpered as she saw a dead end in the Alley. "This way..." She whispered, knowing he was running from that man, and pointed at the wall, climbing up halfway, and holding her hand out to him. She was a good climber with her claw-like nails.

Rain took her hand and hoisted himself up, but the man was too fast. He lunged up at them, knocking them both down. Rain hit the ground with a grunt, and stood up. "You just don't let things go, do you?" he bit out at the man. The man growled, and pounced on Rain, who ducked.

"Eek!!" she hit the ground with a roll, glancing at the man, unable to read his thoughts, she couldn't get her eyes on him. "Rain! Hop on!" She shifted into a giant Fox, almost as tall as Rain, and readied herself to fight, bending down for him to get on.

"I have a better idea," Rain said. "Shift back into a human," he told Alex. The man narrowed his eyes. "So you're bringing her into this, too?" he snarled. "And I thought just two thieves was enough for you."

She shifted back reluctantly, glancing at him, and mouthed, "What now?"

"Catch," Rain said, smirking. He shifted in a beam of light, turning into a gun, landing right in Alex's hands. The man hesitated, then lunged at Alex.

Alex jumped back, aiming, "the gun" at the man and shooting with speed and a good aim. "Rain you-" She started, and took a step back, looking down at the gun in her hand. "Whoa... awesome..."

The man fell back, wincing but still alive. "You thief..." he grumbled, knowing he couldn't win right now. Not without help. "I'll be back," he warned, running off. Rain chuckled. "Yeah, right," he grumbled, shifting back into a human.
