Check looked down at Felix, watching him mouth words to himself. He tilted his head before remembering Delta. He wasn't addressing him. He paused before deciding to get up slowly, getting his bodysuit back on and getting to work with his leg armor. He didn't know what to do or say, so perhaps he should just go think.

Felix finally broke away From Delta's words and looked to Check "You'd be jumping into boiling water if you went with me.. I don't want you to get burned" he said quietly in final response to him.

Delta was situating himself in the kitchen in one of the cabinets, childish yes, but it secluded him from people and let him archive the new information and data he obtained from felix, check and locus on the whole subject of peircings and tattoo's.

Check paused in his armor, looking down at the helmet in his hands. "It's okay." He said simply before putting his helmet on and turning to look at Felix. "I've already got scars-- what could burns do to me?"

Felix looked over to Check and shook his head "You ever had an organ transplanted?" he asked sitting up "And then rejected? Just imagine that, but incase you don't know it's like rubbing salt and lemon into the open gash on your throat." he said, over exaggerating to make a point "You're a really damaged person Checkerboard. I don't want to make you worse"

"No, I haven't." Check responded to the first part of what Felix had said. "But I have been whipped with barbed leather." He put a hand on the back of his helmet and spun on his heel, throwing his hands up in defeat. "And that's just it-- I don't know how it could get worse...!" He said, laughing slightly despite the panic he felt rising. "I'm so damaged. SO broken, I might as well not even try anymore. You're still trying, Felix. You're still here, surviving, and I just... I want it all to stop." He said, his arms falling to his sides as he looked in Felix's direction. "I don't want to hurt, but I can't stop, so what's the use in trying, right?" He asked, voice breaking a little. He didn't understand. He did his best to comprehend everything, but he always managed to land himself in trouble, so he figured it was his calling, however much he disliked it.

Felix stood up and carefully put on his bodysuit and putting his arms on Check's shoulders "You deserve someone better than me, that's all I'm trying to say." he replied gently "Check, how old are you?" he asked trying to make a point.
