"Disappeared? Thats terrible!" she said, looking sadly at the nation. Gems didn't disappear, but their gemstones could easily be broken depending on the situation. Luckily, Pyrite knew when to stop being cocky and never let herself get too close to being shattered, but the thought always scared her. "So, I guess there are a lot of you then?" she asked.

"They can't see me, unless I manifest in front of them. Many don't really enjoy my prescence though." Yukata tilted her head. "Fairies? Those don't exist where I'm from."

It stalked behind its prey quietly. It formed a plan inside its head to follow the prey to the entrance, then catch the prey before it got in. As it crawled on forward, it stepped on a branch, resulting in a large cracking sound.

Peridot is shown to be cold, ruthless and very serious about her work. She doesn't have a very high opinion of humans at all, and is pretty arrogant. However, despite all this she gets flustered quite easily and tends to be childish as well, specifically when things aren't going her way. She complains when Jasper disregards their missions and goes back to Homeworld, and grows frustrated with old Gem technology. She's rather naive when it comes to Earth/humans. She seems to be growing more wired and insane throughout the series. Steven's personality seems to rub off on her as well, shown by her repeating one of his faces. It's clear that the originally cold and emotionless gem is losing it, considering her exclamation of, "DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE!"

Peridot has many abilities:
- Anatomical Liberation: Peridot can separate/amputate some of her body parts by touching a lime colored button at the zone she wants to take out.
- Blaster Protrusion: Peridot can transform her fingers into a blaster and fire an electron energy blast. It is possible that this is her primary weapon.
- Interface Creation: Peridot can project a holographic touchscreen from her fingers, in which she can control and connect to different forms of Gem technology.
- Gemtech Interfacing: Peridot is seen briefly interfacing with her ships controls, presumably setting a course for Homeworld. While it is unknown how skilled she is with this, she at least has enough experience to pilot a gem ship.
- Tractor Beam: Peridot is able to produce a tractor beam from her hand to move or throw objects or people.
- Pocket Dimension: In "Warp Tour", Peridot is seen summoning her EMP device from her gem.
- Wall-Scaling: Peridot can freely run up vertical walls without falling.
- Helicopter Fingers: Peridot can spin her fingers around rapidly enough to fly.
-Electrokinesis: Peridot can generate electrical currents through her fingers. She can also fire electricity in beams. Peridot's electrical currents are similar to that of Garnet's electrokinesis ability.

She also has other tools as well:
- Gem Destabilizer: Like Jasper, Peridot wields a Gem Destabilizer, an extremely potent, non-lethal tool used to subdue enemy Gems.
- Robonoids: Peridot can control different types of spherical robots, known as Robonoids. There are three types of known Robonoids: Flask, Plug, and Hand. They can perform multiple functions, such as fixing a Warp Pad and activating the Gem Kindergarten.
- EMP device: In "Warp Tour", Peridot placed a device on the Galaxy Warp Pad before she left Earth. About three seconds after being placed, the device explodes, disabling all of her Robonoids. The device seems to be highly advanced, as Pearl's machine (which appears to be made from human technology) was unable to disable even a single Robonoid.

Aki quietly waked over to the horse, and picked it up. "I'm Aki. What's your name?" She asked, giving it to the small rabbit.

As soon as she turns around, Plushtrap follows her to the horse, keeping perfect pace. After getting the horse, he/it sat down and began to draw his name in the dirt with the horses hoof writing 'Plushtrap' in a 2 year olds penmanship. He/it then lifted his head to look at her.

Yukata shrugged. "Many yurei and ghosts aren't very welcome where I'm from, and they are usually repelled away. And maybe so, I've never seen a fairy. Since you can see me I don't doubt that you can see other things as well."

Mercury had just continued to watch, this was actually quite entertaining, yet his face was quite straight at the moment. Mercury didn't introduce himself to the strange winged woman and just watched her.

Plushtrap nodded, then cocked his head to the side and pointed at her and then the horse. He/it then began to play with it, bouncing it around on the dirt like a toddler.

Lovino sighed. "Yeah, it's pretty bad sometimes. Depends on how well you knew and got along with them, though." He shrugged again and rubbed the back of his neck. "It's just something we live with, we know we won't last forever." His eyes went to his brother for a moment as he added in a mumble, "And we know some will last longer than others.."

Peridot - Steven Universe - Open

Peridot groaned in confusion as she wandered around the unfamiliar area. She had only recently shown up, and it was causing the green gem quite a bit of stress. She eventually sighed and made her holographic touchscreen with her fingers to see if she could figure out her location. When she couldn't figure it out she complained, "This is ridiculous! Why isn't it working?!"
It was then that she realized she could here many voices in the distance, deciding to walk towards the center of the town.
