Gold
Ataro heard the voice of another person before turning around to see who was behind them. His black eyes widened when his gaze landed on Wes along with his two Pokemon. Quickly, he whipped one of his tails at his trainer, smacking him on the knee with the hand on the end of it, hoping to get his attention. A soft growl escaped the boy's lips when he felt his Pokemon slap him and quickly he turned to face his partner only to stop when his his also settled on Wes. It couldn't be more blatantly obvious that the other boy was a Pokemon trainer due to the two Pokemon at his side. If there was another trainer here then maybe this was some strange area withing the world they lived in. If this was some place within the regions then he was certain that this trainer would know of him. He had managed to become quite known due to his heroics on his journeys. "Greetings trainer. Might you have a clue of where we are?" he asked, deciding to refrain from asking if the other male knew of him. Knowing his location was far more important than knowing if some random trainer knew who he was, though he always loved the attention. While Gold spoke to the other trainer, Ataro cocked his head slightly toward the other Pokemon before moving closer to Gold for safety.

Out of the corner of her eye, the girl caught sight of two figures nearby and she slowed down before coming to a complete stop. Until now she had thought she had been completely alone. Knowing that there were others present only made her more excited than she already was. The dragon-kin's smile grew a bit wider before she began to approach the two, hoping to not catch them by surprise. "Hello there!" she exclaimed as she came to a stop again a few feet away from Gavin and Baily. While she stood before them, she grabbed her cape and wrapped it around herself to try and keep warm again, hoping that the two wouldn't find her to be strange, though she was sure that anyone who didn't know her already found her strange. She was one of the few manakete left in the first place. Maybe there people didn't even know what a manakete was in the first place which would only make it stranger. As she waited for a reply, she twitched her long, pointed ears happily and smiled nonetheless.

For a moment the teen stood in silence even once Link had spoken again. She couldn't argue with what he had stated. They were very different in the first place which only proved his point of being from completely different places. It was hard for the girl to comprehend such a thing since she had always believed that there was nothing but titans beyond the walls that they were forced to live in, but here she was with someone who didn't live within the walls she had been raised in. After a moment of trying to think of an explanation for it all, the girl snapped out of her thoughts again before noticing Link holding his hand out to her as he introduced himself. She quietly bit down on her lip unsure if she should trust him or not, but did she really have much of a choice? She was in some strange place and only strangers would be surrounding her. Teaming up with him for now was her best option even if she didn't like it. Quickly, she slid her blades back into the slots in her gear before lifting her hand to shake his. "It's nice to meet you as well, Link," she managed to spit out, though it was hard for her to even act kind. It was rare for her even to speak to her own comrades in a casual way like this, though on most occasions she avoided them. Friends were something she lacked and hearing him say he rather have her as a friend than an enemy caught her by surprise. Nobody ever considered her as a friend. "What am I? You've never seen a human before?" she asked with a quirk of her brow. It wasn't everyday that she was asked what she was since she was always surrounded by her own kind. "Since you asked what I am, I'm curious as to what you are. The only humanoid creature I've seen with pointed ears are titans and you certainly aren't as big as a titan so what exactly are you?"

The boy's attention quickly was drawn away from the castle in the distance when he saw a young girl run past him and toward the castle he had been walking toward. From the quick glimpse he managed to get of her, he figured that she was no older than he was, maybe not even his age at all. Was this place bringing only children together? The thought of other children being stuck in this place sent a shiver down his spine. It was already bad enough that he had been dragged to such a place, but he would never wish such a thing to happen to others around his age. However, the girl seemed rather joyous about the situation which made him rather uneasy. Was he the only one around here that was wary of the setting he had been placed in? Maybe the girl had another reason to be happy, though he wasn't sure what was exciting about being put in a completely unknown area. That's when it hit him. Maybe she was from the area in the first place and that was why she was happy. It was the only thing that made sense in his mind. Wanting to find out if his thoughts were true or not, the boy rested his baseball bat against his shoulder, but just when he was about to take off, he noticed the girl had come to a stop up ahead and seemed to be talking to someone else. Maybe it was best that he kept his distance for now, but he did want to his question answered.
