Poor Callie and Link just seem to be having a grand time in this castle so far aha)
Callie
Her breathing was heavy as she hung suspended in the trap she had fallen into. Her gaze moved upward when she heard Link's voice overhead and a sigh escaped her lips. "I know I'm an idiot. No need to remind me of that!" she hissed back at him. "And I wasn't thinking! That's my downfall! My anger takes over and I do stupid things!" Her anger was boiling yet again as she spoke to the elf. If there was one thing she hated most, it was getting scolded for her own stupidity. When the music began to stop playing, she bit down on her lip nervously before hearing the voice for herself. A look of fear swept over the soldier's face as she felt the wires snap and a soft cry escaped her lips. "I'm so sorry Link!" she shouted as the light from the room above began to fade from sight. Tears burned in her eyes as she plummeted in the darkness, but she wasn't ready to give up just yet. Quickly, she brought her handles back to her blade container and attached the blades, deciding that it was worth a shot to slow herself down or even stop. She whipped the two blades out and stabbed them into the hard walls around her. Sparks began to fly from the friction between the metal and the wall, only slowing her fall down ever so slightly. This was going to be her end. Callie's eyes squeezed shut tightly and she cried out. She had failed as a soldier and a friend and because of it, she would meet her own death. She began to focus on the screeching sound of her blades against the wall until it ceased and she felt nothing around her. Her eyes shot open just in time to see what was around her and it was to no surprise that she had arrived in the dungeon like basement. Only a moment later she impacted with the floor and cried out in pain. Moving certainly wouldn't be an option for her, but she wasn't dead just yet. "I guess this is the end," she breathed out as she felt her eyelids become heavy.
