Aoi smiled and she placed her hands on Elliot's shoulders, looking him in the eyes with a bright smile. "I'll make sure to keep you well, I'll change your past to something much better."She spoke brightly, leaning in and lightly bumping their noses together before she moved her head away again. "Now, how about we go and look for those donuts inside? I'm starved!"She giggled, her stomach giving a loud, aggressive growl.

When she said basement, Link remembered something from earlier. "In "The Horrors of the Castle", it mentioned a basement in the table of contents. It was blank, of course, but since these trapdoors probably lead there, I doubt its somewhere we'd want to go." He walked back toward the emptiness to peer into it again. "Callie, your book said that lots of people have died in this place. Well, what if it isn't just because of the murderous puzzles throughout the rooms? What if most of them get caught in the basement and can't get out again?" The thought made him shiver, and Link backed away from the hole. They'd just have to be careful, that's all. He didn't care if the entire floor crumpled beneath them, he wasn't going to let his friend meet such a fate. Straightening his shoulders, Link stepped onto the tile to the left (which remained firm) and started towards the door again. He'd barely taken that step, however, when a beautiful melody began to drift across the room. Surprised, Link looked up and glanced around to find the source, but there was no one else in the room. "Callie, do you hear that?" He recalled seeing a piano earlier, and as he glanced towards the corner, Link noticed the piano was playing . . . itself? "Oh great." He breathed. "That can't be good."

The front doors had clasped, and Peacock was safe... But still weary of getting shot off the property. This castle was much larger than she would have desired, making it inconvenient; you had to look for the bathroom. Waddling a few paces farther down it's starting hall, her obsidian hues glance around. It was like she was a spy... a bad one, apparently. Because the door she recently entered flies open again, causing a spark of guilt to flash through her.
After her small leap to the creaking swish, Peacock would slowly pivot to see what- or who was behind her.
Well... He wasn't human, that was for sure... so this... very well could be the owner of this place.
"It's not what it looks like!" Peacock drops a fighting stance while giving the most recent victim a doubting smirk. He could have been in the same situation- who knew?

Elliot could feel heat rushing up to his cheeks as Aoi bumped their noses together, and he ended up being completely silent for a good while before nodding, "....okay.." The vigilante hacker responded eventually, "...lets go and get some doughnuts then.." He said, looking to the castle once again.

Aoi smiled brightly, taking Elliot by the hand and pulling him toward the castle, her eyes full of their usual energy and enthusiasm as she bounded toward the castle. "I gotta get some donuts, I'm so hungry!"She sounded determined, slowing herself down to accommodate the fact the Elliot was not as energetic as she was herself. "But I can wait a little bit..."She contradicted the fact that her stomach wailed out in protest to her decrease in walking speed.

Flannel seemed almost confused by the cyborg human in front of him who seemed almost intimidated by his arrival. He flicked his canine ears and examined her face and her eyes...well, lack of eyes. His eyes then made way to her arms and the eye-like things they adorned. Surely those weren't her eyes? Well, it sure seemed like it in the way they stared at him. "What do you want?"He asked a little sharply, but not aggressively, shifting himself into feral form, his jaws parted as he took in the new scent of the girl in front of him. "Who are you? Where are we?"He questioned her dumbly.
