Scooping up Ataro's pokeball, the trainer gave a slight nod. "It'd probably be best if we did investigate. This place gives me the creeps," he replied. His gold eyes narrowed slightly as he stood back up at his full height and he attached the pokeball back to his backpack strap. This place gave him more chills than he had gotten when he faced Arceus a few months back. Sure it was a completely different situation, but he didn't understand why he would get such a feeling from a place like this. Was there something in this castle that was causing him to feel in such a manner? Gold bit down on his lip at the thought of it before grabbing the pool cue that stuck out of his backpack. "Let's get to searching this place. I want to find whoever owns it and give 'em a piece of my mind for not showing their face right away."

Ruby
"So you are one of the Unova Pokedex holders? Is there more than the two that took down Team Plasma then?" he asked. It wasn't all that strange that Unova would have more than two dex holders since Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn all had more than two as well. Maybe she was eventually made the third holder like Emerald had been in Hoenn, though that hadn't happened until after the Kyogre and Groudon incident. When he watched Rosa pull her own Pokedex out of her bag, he slid his own bag off his back and opened it quickly until his found his own and pulled it out. "I guess this makes us part of an exclusive group together." A smile crossed Ruby's lips at the words, finding it nice that he had gotten to meet one of the dex holders that he hadn't yet met. "And yes that was me that stopped the two legendaries alongside my best friend, Sapphire."

The girl allowed her lavender eyes to settle on Xenon as he stood up and began looking at her. "So this is your friend, huh? Well at least now you know he's safe. I wonder if any of my friends will be here too," the dragon said. She figured it was a long shot for any of the Shepherds other than herself to be stuck in this unknown place, especially since the portal had open from the sky where most of her comrades couldn't even get to other than Nah, Tiki, and herself, but that was only if they were in their manakete forms in the first place. Before Nowi could speak again, the door behind them slammed shut. The loud slam sent a shiver down her spine, but she calmed herself quickly, not wanting to appear as though she was scared easily by things. "Anyways, maybe the three of us should explore this place and see if anyone lives here so we can get some answers," she suggested with a light shrug of her shoulders.

Rosa gasped upon Ruby confirming that he had stopped Kyogre and Groudon. "Wow! That really is impressive!"She squeaked and began bouncing from foot to foot excitedly, her eyes shimmering. "Stopping legendary pokemon, that's soooo cool!"She added. "There were a couple of people who tried to stop Zekrom and Reshiram, but Team Plasma caught Reshiram before they could catch both of them..."

Sheepishly, the trainer rubbed the back of his neck at the girl's reaction to his heroic deeds. "Well I was lucky to have the legendary Pokemon, Celebi with me to restore peace in the end otherwise the situation could have gotten a lot worse," he said. When the other trainer began to talk about how people had tried to capture two Pokemon, which he assumed were legendaries within the Unova region, he quirked a brow slightly. "Seems like people can never stop wanting to catch the legendaries no matter which region they are in. I know they are amazing creatures, but some people really need to stop controlling them, especially the evil organizations that continuously try to use them for their own good." Ruby shook his head slightly as he thought about the legendaries that had been sought after that he had learned off.

Rosa sighed a little, biting her lip for a few moments. "Well Team Plasma was trying to catch Reshiram to keep it out of the harm of trainers, I was told. Our leader, N, was to lead Reshiram to defeat the 'heroes' of Unova and then release the two legendary Pokemon...but it went the other way, we were defeated..."She sighed. The trainer then began playing with her hair a little, huffing through her nose quietly. "It's cold out here, do you think we should head inside by the way?"

The boy listened to Rosa explain what she had been told by their leader as he rubbed his index finger against his cheek. "I see. I guess not all things can go according to plan, like how I somehow appeared here during such a bad time. Oh all of my fans are going to be so disappointed when I don't show up at the Pokemon contest later today," he sighed. Even if he did show up at many contests across the region, he always felt bad when he couldn't make one, knowing that many of the trainers that entered were looking forward to meeting him and seeing him in action. For a moment he got lost in thinking of the contests until he heard Rosa suggest that they head inside. How had he completely forgotten about the castle he had been making his way toward? "That would probably be a good idea. I rather not freeze to death out here." He began to walk forward toward the structure until it hit him that he hadn't even introduced himself by name to the girl. "Oh, by the way, I'm Ruby and my partner here, his name is Zuzu."

Rosa smiled quietly as she listened to Ruby, she nodded briefly and gave a quiet laugh. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ruby. I'm Rosa, this is Roserade, and that is Sandile!"She introduced her two currently released pokemon with a bright and bubbly expression on her face. She bounced on ahead toward the castle, her eyes bright and shimmering with innocence only someone as naive as she was could actually show.

He nodded his head slightly as she introduced herself before his gaze fell on her once again. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, Rosa, and I must say, your Pokemon are just lovely, especially that Roserade. He would definitely win a beauty contest," the trainer gushed, allowing his love for contests to shine through once again. It was hard to contain when he saw Pokemon her thought would be perfect for them though. Ever since the incident with the Salamence when he was younger, he had taken a keen eye to seeing Pokemon's beauty, but he never did forget about strength as well. Since he was the son of a gym leader, he was always expected to have strong Pokemon as well. Balancing the two was a chore, but he always found a way to do it. "And speaking of contests, this castle would be such a great place to hold them. The way it glimmers in the light is just wonderful. Don't you think so?"

Rosa nodded as she looked around, marvelling the castle. "Yeah, it would be the perfect place to hold a contest!" She squeaked brightly. "Actually, I was thinking of giving Roserade a nickname...maybe I should call him Opal? Peridot?" She murmured. "I like Opal..." She smiled at her polemon. "He's very beautiful, we've won a couple of contests in Unova and Kalos!" She spoke of her Pokemon with pride.

"Opal does sound like a nice nickname for him, if you ask me," he replied as he stopped in front of the castle doors. It was nice listening to the girl speak of her Pokemon's beauty much like he did with his own Pokemon. The others never seemed to appreciate such a thing and it was nice that for once another one of the dex holders entered contests much like him. "That is wonderful to hear that he has won a few contests. I never knew other regions had any, then again after speaking with the older dex holders from Kanto and Johto, I learned that they don't have any so I just assumed Hoenn was the only one. I guess I was wrong though." Ruby shrugged his shoulders slightly, accepting that he knew that he couldn't always be right in the first place.

Rosa smiled quietly and shook her head. "Contests are rare in Kalos and Unova, they're more common in Sinnoh, I hear. I know Cilan, Chili and Cress occasionally host some contests..." He murmured. She beamed brightly as she pushed her way into the castle, Opal following behind her loyally.
