thump. that was the sound of god knows what slamming
straight into blue's legs. the girl's knees buckled, causing
her to fall full force into the knee-high snowy mountain.
her body sank a few centimetres into the ice-cold depths.
everything was going numb - that was not good. how the
hell could she get back home if she got something, like,
hypothermia, or whatever it's called? silver was probably
looking for her, back in kanto! oh man, it was super cold!
blue squeaked, scrambling back to her regular position,
legs slowly turning a nasty shade of blue. she muttered
to herself, smacking her skin so as to remove an trace
of snow and ice that was still clinging on. it was a tricky
thing to attempt, seeing as she could barely reach all of
her body. luckily, being just five foot one meant that there
really wasn't much for the snow to hold onto.
blue's skin was wet, her dress was officially soaked, and
her hair. oh lord, her hair. let's not talk about what the
snow did to her hair. it was not a very pleasant topic.
the girl shook herself, hopping from one foot to the other
in a desperate attempt to stay warm. who even dared do
this to her? the cunning blue eyes darted around the
area, trying to catch any glimpse of the criminal who had
ruined her dress! they stopped at a small little boy,
who was simply sitting there. he looked rather flustered
- uncomfortable, even. good! blue gritted her chattering
teeth, and marched over to the poor thing. well, tried to
march. it was kind of hard to do that in knee-deep snow.
"you!" blue called, shaking a trembling arm at the
flustered boy. the snow really was a pain to walk in - it
didn't make her look nearly as terrifying as she wanted.
the girl came to a stop in front of him, bending over so
that she was nearly eye to eye. the frosty blue eyes
bore straight into beady little black ones.
"what!" she hissed, patting the child on the head, "was
that all about?" blue tucked her hair behind her ear;
she was ready to kick this kid's butt. "you knocked me
over - do you hate me?" ah, puppy eyes worked a
wonder here. blue's eyes widened ever so slightly, a
small trace of tears coming to them. wow, this kid looked
like a right sucker, anyway - this little scene would
probably knock his socks off. blue giggled inwardly.
"why would you do that to me?" an ever so slight sob
was allowed to escape from her. she batted her
eyelashes, sinking into the snow next to ZiM. "I
just want to get home, like you!" next were the actual
tears. they at first started one at a time, but would (of
course!) lead to a proper downpour of tears raining
onto the pretty girl's face. "my little brother is starving
in the streets!" blue exclaimed, wiping away the tears
exaggeratedly. "he needs me! he'll die if I'm not around
to protect him - don't you understand?" blue grabbed
ZiM by the shoulders, earnestly staring into his eyes.
"I really need to get home! What will my poor, little
Silver do without me?"
