Claire opened the door, walking in she gasped slightly, she turned, at walked away, he back turned to Owen & Arin. To say the least she felt her heart break, " Maybe he was only joking about me liking him or him liking me, but still.." she tried to refrain herself, her arms were crossed, she watched her feet, occasionally bumping into people, she apologised and sped up, tears forming in her eyes.

Owen Grady
Recovering from his shock, Owen shoved Arin away from him just in time to see Claire leave. Without a word to Arin, he sped after her. "Claire!" He called after her.

Hugo Lowkee
Hugo was walking towards the lab when he saw Claire. "Well, well, well," he drawled. "Look who it is, Little Miss Organized!" As she passed him, Hugo grabbed hold of her arm to prevent her escaping. "Aaaw, what's the matter?" he said cruelly. "A little stressed? Well...that can't do. Can it?" Before he could say another word, he was shoved away from Claire harshly. Hugo turned to face a furious Owen glaring daggers at him. "Get away from her," Owen said in a quiet voice deceiving the anger beneath. Hugo scowled at him for a while before leaving.

Christa had just dropped off the new baby raptor to the nursery when she saw Claire speeding through the crowd. "Ms. Dearing?" She called. "The new raptor is in the nursery if you- Are you okay?" Claire sped past her and Owen followed. She figured she'd mind her own business, so she headed back to where Arin was to check on Storm.

Claire glared daggers at Hugo and then turned to Owen. Crossing her arms, she glared at Owen, "What?!" she snapped, "Don't you have Arin to go and annoy? or should I say snog?"

Owen just stared at her in disbelief. "What? No!" He replied, getting angrier. "Arin kissed me, I didn't kiss her! I don't like her that way!" He sighed. "I like somebody else," he said cryptically. He felt nervous though he knew he shouldn't. "Look, I just took Storm over to Arin. The only reason I was still there was because the raptor egg hatched. Arin usually does take hatchling's herself, but this time she got a new worker to take the hatchling instead. I had no idea she was gonna kiss me, Claire!" He sighed in frustration, combing his fingers through his hair.

Claire only rolled her eyes, "Yeah sure." she said dryly, " If you don't like her, then who do you like?" Claire asked, hands on her hips.
