Mortem slowly logged back on, rebooting his systems and flickering back next to Nevada looking disoriented as he tried to figure out what was going on.

Maine growled at what the director implied and had to resist firing off his brute shot now otherwise it'd risk delta being destroyed too. So, when the director set delta's chip down he moved forward carefully and towards the chip, one hand on his brute shot just incase as he reached a hand out to grab the chip, watching the director from the corner of his eyes.

The Director

"I have no further use for Delta." I say as I motion towards the chip again. "It's either you take him, or I force him out of commission." I watch Maine, stepping away from him. "I'm anything but distrustful. Go on. Take him."

Maine watched the director before picking up delta's chip carefully and stepping back before turning and moving over to York. He felt rather uneasy with the director, like he was planning something at the moment.
Nevada was currently aiming down the sights of his sniper rifle, smirking faintly as he lined up the sights carefully. "Sir. I have agent York lined up. Take the shot?" He asked silently threw the communications to the director.

The Director

I watch Maine pick up Delta's chip, going back skeptically over to York. I smile, my glasses flaring from the light again. "Don't kill him." I reply into the piece in my ear. "Fire at will."

Nevada grinned. "With pleasure." He hummed as he took aim, lowering the sight slightly and taking the shot to hit York in the leg to immobilize him before his sight moved up and quickly fired at maine with the second shot.

Maine reached York and hold the chip out at first before hearing the first shot, causing him to recoil and turn towards the director with a snarl at the trap. He freaking knew it and still fell for it! However, his mind went blank when the second shot went off and sent maine to the ground due to the shot landing in his back.

Agent York

I open my hand, eyeing the Director for the moment before...falling. I'm falling. What's...going on? My leg....my leg is...Delta. I dropped Delta due to my fall, and he lands at the Director's boot, who smiles, says nothing, and retreats back into the cave. I scream and retract my hand to that area, closing my eyes from the pain.

"Tango's down." Nevada said, shifting from his position inorder to set his rifle against his back and head in for the cave now. When he reached the cave mouth, he stepped over York and maine before picking up the chip. "Can't believe they fell for it. Seriously. What do you want done with them sir? Other then the neural implant removed?" He asked, looking at the director.

Agent York

"Leave them." The Director mutters and looks over at the Agent. "They'll bleed out soon enough."

"NO!" I shout, slamming my fisted hand on the ground. "You--" And then I shout out a string of things that would make even Maine or Tex blush with embarrassment. "COME BACK HERE AND FIGHT, YOU COWARD!!"

The Director just looks down at us, then nods over at...jerk weed, and leaves with Alpha peeking out at us.

Nevada smirked and chuckled a bit, shaking his head as he moved towards York, pulling the magnum from his side. "Have fun in h-!!" Nevada made a noise of surprise when he was suddenly smashed into the ground from a rough punch to his helmet. "W-What the heck?! I shot him to knock him out." He growled.
"You did. However, you did not calculate for adaptation." Came delta's voice as said RED AI fragment appeared.
"Your still a chip!" Nevada hissed.
"Manipulation is not as hard as you think, especially if the person you are using is incapacitated." Delta answered.

Agent York

Um..is Maine...is he...alive? Um...

Then Alpha appears, looking at all of us. He then looks at Maine, floats over to him, and smiles. "Thanks." He then kicks at Maine's helmet a little and fades again.
