The Director

"You honestly believe that?" I glance over at him for a few moments before return to look outside. "I find it's funny that something as minimal, as say, a star exploding can make something as huge as a black hole erupt." I answer, blinking, soon looking down before turning to look at Aiden again. "You remember when you asked me when I was last happy?" I question, moving around the room. "Well I wasn't entirely truthful with you, and for that I apologize. But I was last happy when I was gazing out to the stars." I answer. "With someone I care for."

[Agent Maine(Meta)]

Aiden looked at him as he nodded. "Well need to work on that then." He said softly, moving to lay a gentle hand ontop of the director's now. "I'm sure if we work together, we can make more happier and longer lasting memories." He hummed softly.

The Director

"I hope so." I smile a little, moving back to the chair before sitting down, giving a small chuckle. "I just hope--"

"DON'T PUSH, YOU GUYS!" I turn when I see Alpha and the other tumbling through the door. "Ow..." I clear my throat. "Oh.....hey guys. What's up?"

I place a hand up to my head. "You were spying on us, weren't you? All of you?"

"No! .....Yes."

Aiden looked over at alpha and chi who laid on the floor still while omega stood there, shaking his head in annoyance. Aiden merely chuckled at them, very amused with their actions.

The Director

"Omega pushed us! I couldn't help it!" Alpha places his hands up.

"Perhaps it's for the best. It is getting rather late."

"Oh...do we need to leave again?" He chuckles, to which I roll my eyes.

"Goodnight." I say with a gentle smile Aiden's way.

"BUT WAIT!" I jump. "Um...Nevada's still asleep on your couch...maybe you should....stay here....tonight...cause of that."

[Agent Maine(Meta)]

"But didn't agent Nevada bring him in here? So why would he be there?" Aiden asked with a raised brow at the moment.

Omega snorted a bit. 'Convince the counselor to watch the director back to his room. I got an idea.' He sent the private message to alpha before vanishing instantly.

Alpha

"Okay, so if you have a plan, I'm terrified now." I look over at the Counselor. "Because...see. His room is right next to the elevator being repaired, so he just took over the Director's couch for now and began to sleep, and he hasn't been up since. He even went straight back to your room and went to sleep." Please don't know that I'm lying.

"You're lying."

Ugh... "Alright, I am! Fine then! Go to bed! See if I care....but watch out for hallway ghosts. Hallway ghosts eat people with high standing positions. Maybe Aiden should...walk with you?" I'm bad at this.

[Agent Maine(Meta)]

Aiden rose a brow at alpha. "Hallway ghosts Alpha?" He mused as he looked at the AI.
"Alpha's right thought! Make sure the director doesn't stop by the cafeteria and take another bottle!" Chi squeaked in an attempt to help alpha with his idea as she bounced on her toes.
"Hmm... That is actually a good point Chi." Aiden mused calmly.

Alpha

"Hey! Hallway ghosts are a real thing! I've seen them!" I defend, crossing my arms. "Yeah! make sure you don't get into anymore trouble, you--"

"That's enough, Alpha." The Director says sternly. "Alright, alright. We're going." He opens the door and holds it open for Aiden.

Aiden chuckled softly but walked out of his office, then stopped in the hallway to wait for the director. Once he was walking, aiden walked beside him easily and casually, just like old times.
