Mercury chuckled softly and started gently playing with his hair, looking down and feeling a small table tinge of pride from the fishtail braid he had managed for the strand of hair he normally kept longer. "Me? A tease? That's nonsense Vady"

Terrence chuckled when he saw that Felix was indeed spiking the punch bowl "Fine but if I end up completely smashed, you're going to have to deal with it'" he warned before walking away.

"I'm going to have to deal with you AND felix smashed." Locus huffed, rolling his eyes playfully and merely shoo'ing Terrence back to the party. He smirked amusedly under his helmet, watching Terrence go back to everyone before Phi and Xi appeared on his shoulders. "Shouldn't you two be in bed?" He mused.
"There was a lot of noise. We couldn't sleep." Phi answered.

Nevada snorted a bit and reached the party, only to see all the people crowded about in a big circle and all. "The hecks happening here?" He mused.

Maine snorted softly at the sudden attention but shrugged it off. He didn’t mind attention, so merely pushed it aside and looked at sigma to see if he was ready. When sigma gave him the okay, hs grunted softly in a form of clearing his throat as he carefully reached his hands up and pulled his helmet off, placing it on the floor before running his hands along the top and back of his head before he took both of York’s hands into his own. ”This is some really sappy crap I’m about to pull. But I want to say. York, I’ve loved you for a really long time. Since the first time I met you when the director got me from the Spartan two program and I met you, the twins, Carolina and Wyoming. You were the only one not terrified of me. And I knew you were probably going to be some annoying little punk, but instead, I found myself falling for your charm and that goofy personality of yours. And I kept quiet about it and only just got more aggressive and put myself more willingly into my work and the missions when you and Carolina got together. But now, I have you all to myself. I have you, Jake Folsten. And I will make sure, never to let you go. And my first step in doing that, is this.” He stated, letting sigma translate for him as he pulled his hands away and opened one of the subspace compartments, pulling out the little wooden box. He took a deep breathe before moving down onto one knee and opened up the box. ”You’re may have been a prank, but mines not. So, do me the greatest honor and pleasure, and be mine forever?” He said softly while holding the now opened ring box out to York for him to see the gold wedding band with silver engravings of ivy markings and the three gem colored heart in the middle of the ring.

Nevada blushed slightly seeing mercury's outfit. He quickly cleared his throat and shook his head. "You're so lucky your a hologram right now." He mumbled, blushing greatly but nodded and headed out.

Locus rolled his eyes and shook his head. "I'm fine up here. Go back to the festivities." He answered calmly.

When he takes my hands, I smile up at him. And when he takes his helmet off, in front of the Director and all these people, I know. Beyond a shadow of a doubt I know what he's going to do. "I can hear your growls all day." I smile and listen to Sigma. Huh-huh. This is happening right now. Where's Delta when I need him? When I watch Maine get down on his knee and open the box, I find myself smiling, and when I see the ring, I find myself smiling even wider. I chuckle. "Heh. Maine." I look over the box, running a hand across the band, before looking up at him and into his eyes. "I knew loved me, but I didn't know you loved me that much."

Maine shifted a bit as he stared at york. A sheepish growl escaping him as well, merely waiting for york's answer to his little proposal. Was it an okay time he was feeling self conscious now since there was so many people watching and york was taking forever to answer him?

I tighten my hands into small fists, looking around at the crowd one last time before clearing my throat. I look over towards Maine, taking a step back. "I'm sorry. I just can't..." I'm hiding the tears in my voice now as I push my way through the crowd.

Maine stared as york retreated. He carefully picked his helmet up then stood up but merely watched as york ran away. His chest hurt.... why did his chest hurt when he wasn't injured? Why did it feel like something was crushing his heart and lungs? Thats all he could manage. Was to stare as york ran away. Why?

I step halfway through the crowd, sniffing a little. I then turn back to Maine, hearing the low murmurs from the crowd and comments made towards me. I wipe my nose on my armored sleeve before sprinting back down to him. "EXPRESS MY FEELINGS TOWARDS YOU RIGHT NOW!!" I shout, literally jumping on top of him. When we both land on the ground, I roll off of him and squeak. "Yes, yes, yes, yes!"

Maine grunted in sudden surprise when york suddenly jumped onto him. He hissed a bit as he looked at york before putting his arms around him to hold him close. This was better, so much better. York was strange thats for sure, but he this was a whole new level. Either way, he loved it, he loved him, and this was the best night so far. He snorted a bit, pushing his helmet off inorder to kiss york, growling softly to express his joy and excitement.

I hear cute remarks from the crowd, as well as a few 'aw's. I take a deep breath. "You really fell for that, didn't you?" I wink at him and kiss him back. "Yes, Cameron. I would love to marry you." I take a deep breath and kiss him again.
