Derrek smiled. "My name is Augustin. Sorry about, Theron." he said, gesturing toward the bird on his shoulder who looked quite perturbed. "He isn't very fond of people." he explained. There were a few moments of awkward silence before Derrek spoke again. "Is there anything I can do to make up for running in to you?" he asked with a kind smile. Theron rolled his eyes and flapped his wings before taking off.

"I can see that," She said, smoothing out her dress and keeping one eye on Theron, who looked vexed. She shifted her feet akwardly, looking around at the walls a bit before fixing her large brown eyes on Augustin again. She opened her mouth to respond, but ended up jumping back when Theron flew off, obviously annoyed.

"Oh no, its fine... Really..." She murmured, her cheeks turning pink again. "I was just going to go into town for a bit while my master is at the doctor." She explained, gripping her money pouch tightly incase he was some sort of theif.

Ryan sighed, he felt bad for basically telling Sharrisa to leave, but he'd feel worse if she got in trouble for staying away too long. Melanie groaned, grabbing Sharrisa's hand as she walked to the door. "You'll come back an' visit me an' Tessie, won't you?" She asked, gazing up at her new friend with big eyes. Her mom came forward and gently pulled Melanie back, smiling at Sharrisa. "We would all love it if you visited once in a while," She said, throwing a glance at Ryan who nodded a little, staring at the ground.

Derrek smirked at her annoyed expression as Theron flew off. "May I accompany you? It's the least I can do," he smiled kindly. "I need to go into town, anyway." he said before she could protest.

Drake smirked a bit, a mock betrayed look in his eyes when he looked back at Jack. "Not at all!" he gasped, shaking his head. He watched Jack put the eyes on, adding a very feminine swoon into the mix. "Jack, I think you're much better than me at the eyes and the swoon," he said, patting Jack's head in an almost pitying way. After a few moments of what seemed like peaceful silence, Jack pulled the ace. Stupid kid, annoyed him sometimes. A part of him knew Jack was just doing it to annoy him, but God.

"We can get off once all this water's out of the ship." He didn't say Jack could have gotten off long ago; it was Drake's duty to get all the water out of the ship's storage space. Hopefully Jack didn't figure that out. There was still a lot of water to pail out. He glanced at Jack, heading up the stairs once more. His legs were starting to ache from this repetitive motion, and along with the aching in his lower back, he was ready to collapse and take another nap. But he had to finish. He glanced at Jack again, smiling brightly. "Are you anxious to go and buy that necklace?"

Jasper smiled sheepishly at Adelaide, shaking his head. "Don't worry about her." He waved to her, glancing over his shoulder as she called to him. He nodded before he dove into the hospital. Once in the small room with Rayne, he sat down in a small chair that looked like it was left for the guests other than patients. Rayne jumped up onto a makeshift bed, sighing thoughtfully and twiddling her thumbs. "You'll be fine, Rayne," Jasper said softly. She nodded, staring at the floor and kicking her feet.

After a few moments, a tall, thin man in a white suit that seemed to glow in the dim lighting. He looked between the redhead and the blonde, silent for a moment, before hurriedly starting the regular check up things - checking her pulse, her ears, her eyes. After that was all done, and a thorough session of fidgeting from Rayne, he finally addressed the problem at hand. "So why are you here?" His voice was even calmer than she expected. It almost scared her. And so she explained, with helped from Jasper along the way.

Jack blinked, a smug smile appearing on his face. "Of course I'm better," He declared, his eyes bright as he watched Drake's reaction to his childishness. "But I want to get off now." He grumbled, his feet making irritating squeaky noises as they slid across the floor. "My back hurts. And my arms. And my legs." He complained, throwing Drake a 'this is all your fault' look kids gave their parents so often. But since Jack's parents were gone, he targeted most of his annoying teenage acts toward Drake, whom seemed more like an older brother than a friend.

"Yes, I'm very anxious. What if they don't have any good necklaces? Or what if I get one and Mo doesn't like it?" He listed off a number of things that could go wrong, and finished with a depressing sigh.

Adelaide smiled shyly and nodded, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink. Again. (She blushes super easy, like me! XD) "I guess, if you're already going into town. I don't want to make you feel obligated or anything, it was just as much my fault as yours." she said, moving forward and walking past him, but slowly, so he could catch up and walk beside her. She looked back and blinked at him, he was handsome. Very handsome. And his eyes... They were such a lovely shade of green.

Drake frowned at Jack, flinching a bit at the squeaking coming from his shoes. Jack sure knew how to annoy someone. "My back, and arms, and legs hurt, too, you big baby," he said, smiling good-naturedly. He rolled his eyes at the look he received; like he hadn't gotten that from him before. Or a variety of other looks. He smiled brightly, his light brown eyes bright and all happy... Still somewhat odd on his face, the one that was usually scowling or indifferent. Even the small smile on his lips was out of place.

He was surprised. Jack was never so paranoid. "You know, whatever it is, I'm sure she'll love it," he assured, shaking his head at Jack's uncertainty and depression. "There's no need to be so worried about this. They'll have plenty of fine necklaces for a fine girl like Momo, and she will love that fine necklace you buy her no matter what." He paused, chewing on the inside of his cheek. He may as well tell Jack, whether he knew or not. "The thing about girls, Jack, is that it doesn't matter if it's pretty or not. As long as it came from a friend,"-because he couldn't say someone they love, could he?-"and it matches their eyes even a bit, then they'll be happy." That was his brotherly advice for the week.

Twin smiles on their faces as always, Aidan and Aidric stuffed some extra money into their pockets. They hadn't left the ship yet, being the adventurous boys they were deep down. They saw this as an opportunity to explore. They loved exploring. It was a very childish thing, yes, but it was in their hearts, it was born into them. They just departed from their room, and were off through the halls with sneaky gleams in their eyes. Even Aidan, calm, quiet, peaceful Aidan, was hurrying to sneak around the ship. Their clear-green eyes were alight with curiosity as they walked calmly through the halls of the ship.

Their father was a proud man. He, too, travelled in ships all the time. He was away from home most of the year, sometimes. He missed watching his boys grow up, and his two young daughters - also twins, like Aidan and Aidric. He was an adventurer, and a real man of the sea. He always had amazing tales when he came home, and souvenirs like nice clothes from far away or seashells or jewelry made from lost things from the sea. The girls had an extensive collection of pearls and seashells. Aidan and Aidric had traveling and adventure in their blood. There was no way they couldn't want to look around the ship while no one was on.

Alexander smiled, "Hmm.. well i think i'll need a few item along the way." he paused looking out the small port hole from his bed, squinting to see outside. "Umm.. rose.. were exactly are we?" he asked looking back to her.

"One, I am not a big baby. I'm fifteen years old. And two, if your back, arms, and legs hurt too, why can't we just skip out and go into town already?" He studied Drake's expression, taking note of the small smile on his lips and the way his eyes shined. "You are not actually enjoying doing this, are you?" He asked incredulously, eyeing Drake and straightening up to walk like a normal person.

"Right right, it's the thought that counts, hm?" Jack said saucily. But the uncertain look promptly returned to his face, and he turned to blink at Drake. "But I never really paid any attention as to what color Mo's eyes are..." he stammered, narrowing his eyes as he tried to recall her eye color. Were they blue? Hazel? Ah! They were green! A pale green that always expressed her feelings more than her expression or behavior.
