You can hear the deep growl rumbling in the chest of the beast before you. You can feel his every movement through the ground as you tighten your grip on your spear. You meet its golden eyes for only a moment before it lunges forward, jaws opened wide. Just 7 seconds. That's the amount of time that passed from when you were standing there, in complete control, to now. Ready to kill the beast before it could kill you. But you had a lapse of judgment. A second where you thought maybe it would be better if you just set your spear down and walked away. Now you're pinned beneath the beast with his claws sinking deep into the soil on either side of your head as he leans down, his 6 inch-long fangs dripping on your cheek as his meaty breath washes over you.
You are at the complete mercy of this beast you sought to destroy.
This roleplay will be taking place in the Ice Age (dun dun dun) you can either play a beast (saber tooth tiger, short-faced bear, dire wolf, giant sloth or any other ice age animal you can think of) or you can play a human. I hope to keep the number of beasts and humans somewhat even so each person can have a companion.
Our characters will start out in northern Europe, but they are heading south in search of a slightly warmer home. Along the way they will undoubtedly encounter a lot of conflicts and inevitably, other tribes which will most likely be hostile.

{1.} All of the site rules apply
{2.} This is semi-lit/lit, which means I expect each of these things within each post:
-6 or more sentences
-creative writing
-proper grammar
{3.} Drama is highly encouraged! Not everyone has to get along and not every animal will obey its master
{4.} Romance is encouraged as well, but let's try to build healthy relationships and such to keep it realistic, please. You are allowed to have children, but only if the other RPer agrees and you are by no means allowed to describe it. Just say they went off to be alone for a while or something.
{5.} My goal here is to keep it as realistic as I can. If your character is injured in a fight, they aren't going to magically heal, remember to consider their injury when roleplaying for a while after the fight.
{6.} Make your characters interesting, please! I want nutcases, introverts, nuisances, attention-seekers, good-guys and bad-guys. Let's get a variety of personalities in here.
{7.} Please be respectful of other players (write kodak in white on your form) and obey my rules, please.
{8.} Please be active! Try to post at least once a day. Personally, I don't mind if you and another player post back and forth for a couple pages, as long as you don't make anything too major happen with the group and give recaps if anyone wants one. But if someone else is objected to it in this roleplay, try to refrain.
