Syth slowly crept onto the beach as he slipped off his shoes, only going to the waters edge, never touching the ocean water as he looked at the softly glittering water, then looked over at her curiously.

Amare smiled at Kyoko, passion sparking behind his eyes. "But you see, that is all history really is: stories. It is not dates and events, or even time lines and text books, but the retelling of tales long forgotten," he said. Amare laughed brightly. "Oh, how the old tales have been thrown aside by the years. It is a shame that young minds such as yours do not appreciate the past," he said, mostly to himself.

Daniella didn't act like she realized Syth had come to the water's edge. But then she spoke. "I've never seen anything like this before," She said softly without turning her head away from the ocean. "It's so amazing."

Kyoko blinked. "And what of your past Amare, if you don't mind me asking."

"The island has it's perks; its gorgeous," Syth murmured quietly with a slight nod as he watched her with a quiet sigh, the small smile on his calm face.

Daniella slowly nodded in response. She felt tears forming in her eyes and reached up with one hand to wipe them away before Syth noticed.

All Syth saw was her reach her hand up to wipe something away, and guessed.. tears? "Are you okay?" he whispered as he inched toward her.

Daniella nodded. "Just a litte homesick," She said. She wasn't really sure if that was the whole reason she was sad, but it wasa good enough excuse. She hoped.

"Oh," Syth mumbled as he looked out to the ocean again, completely still now. He didn't know if it was the whole reason, but he wouldn't bother her for it.

Amare blinked, the smile fading from his face slightly. He stared off into the distance, his eyes far away, but a dark grin twitched the corners of his mouth. "Oh, there are quite a many stories in my past," he said softly. He adjusted the till a little further east, staring at the dimming horizon.
