Syth chuckled a little bit. "I guess," he mumbled as Aery whimpered.

Daniella pet Aery. "You okay girl?" She asked as the puppy whimpered.

Kyoko nodded. "Um yeah...right there." She pointed to her bags in the corner.

Jacky shook her head. "This isn't the end of this."

Amare continued on ignoring Jacky, inwardly mauling himself for not being more sympathetic to her, and how hard this must be on her after loosing Jaime. "Would you like me to show you to the room you'll be staying in?" he asked Kyoko. "I have a shortage of rooms in the lighthouse, unfortunately, but I think it would be best if Mary took my bed and I gave you the guest bedroom; it would be more accommodating," he explained, not looking up from the last sheets he had graded; he had a lot of work to do to plan for his class tomorrow.

Aery squirmed a bit and whimpered. Syth let her go and she went over and crawled into Daniella's lap, he sighed deeply as he looked down.

Kyoko nodded. 'Um sure." She stood up slowly and walked to grab her bags.

Jacky rolled her eyes. "Oh so now you want to sleep with me? Naughty boy Amare." She smirked

Amare managed to look annoyed as his face turned scarlet, shaking his head as he stood up to show Kyoko to the staircase. "Naturally, Mary, I assumed you would take my bed and I would sleep on the couch," he said with as much dignity he could gather while still blushing. He didn't actually sleep in his bed much, when he did sleep; Amare was a creature of habit, and his habit was to simply pass out wherever it is he was.

Kyoko blushed at Jacky's forewardness.

Jacky laughed. 'but of course."

Amare turned away from Jacky, his face still reddened, climbing the spiral staircase up to the next level. "Come, Kyoko," he said. "I'll show you to your room." He took Kyoko's bags with him as he ascended the stairs, glancing back down at Jacky fleetingly; as he remembered, Jacky already knew where Amare's room was.
