Personality: he is quite solitary and prefers his own company and because of this he doesn't have very good social skills and sometimes comes off as being a bit rude. Though behind his personality flaws he is actually quite kind and caring, this is shown at its best when he is with his pet cats.

History: well to start with he doesn't know who his real parents are, for as long as he can remember he has lived in foster homes and never having a perminant home. He doesn't know what happened to his real parents and no one he asked seemed to know. Now that he's grown up more he no longer sees the need to find out what happened to his parents and is just looking to settle down somewhere with his cats.

History: Now to start off with she is a distant relative of the Black family but still close enough to have retained the last name and she has had a very troubled child hood. Her life was fine till she was 5 when she witnessed her mother being kissed by a rogue Dementer then two years later her father was killed in a freak accident thus leaving her as an orphan with her younger sister who she dearly loved. Sadly they were split up when they went to foster homes and she has never seen her again. She was bounced around from foster home to foster home. Some were nice and some were not. Since the day her father died and her sister was taken away she has never had a real family or experienced true family love again and this has taken its toll on her.

August was sitting at the Hufflepuff table watching the sorting. Every time someone was sorted into his house he cheered loudly and welcomed them to the house. He had always been very social unlike his brother and sister.

Shay sat quietly at his table, he did cheer when someone was sorted into his house but he preferred to stay quiet and out of the way.

Jax was sitting next to Shay at the Ravenclaw table. Shay was the only one at the table that he actually minded siting with, Shay was not noisy and annoying like a lot of the students at Hogwarts and he was probably the only one he would consider a friend.
