Forest put Shadow back in her bag and closed the bag. She headed off to her first class- dragon and broom stick riding. dragon... she thought. Thats what she wanted to ride. Shadow was pretty quiet in the bag. He alway went everywhere with Forest. She headed off to her first class

Ariel shifted nervously in her seat. She hoped that she didn't end up being forced to ride a dragon. They scared her. Brooms were okay, but dragons... she shivered, then jumped as the door opened and another student came in (Forest). Please don't sit next to me... She willed desperately, which was useless because the seat next to her was the only one open in the whole room.

Forest sat down in the empty seat, not looking at Ariel. She carefully set her bag next to her. It moved a little but then stopped. Shadow had laid down in the bag quietly

Shadow was fast asleep. If he was to smell another dragon, he would wake up, but other wise he refused to move. Forest waited for class to start
