Macy bit her lip, then carefully stepped around Edan and walked over to the packaged meat and picked it up, then set off back toward the microwave, taking another dish out of the cabinet on the way, avoiding the shards of broken glass as she tried to keep from shaking, still filled with the fear the strange humming had brought on.
