Finally relinquishing his hold on Ashley, Daniel instead went over to Oliver and wrapped his arm around the boy's shoulders, smiling way too sweetly to honestly be smiling. Of course, he also kept his voice low enough to not be heard by Ashley. "You better not be after her. I don't want her getting hurt by anyone, get it? Call me a protective brother, but I do love my dear Ashley." That should be enough warning for him should his attentions be inclined in such a way.
