Lamento did his best not to laugh. Him? Worry about being late? Bwahah! That was way too laughable. Lamento could care less about school or his ‘future’ or stupid jobs. He wasn’t even sure how long he would live- so why care? He didn’t want to be stuck in school forever- yet, the people of the church made him because they thought it’d be a good thing. If anything it just made him feel cooped up. He just smiled when Rell tried to pronounce his name. It was funny really, but he wouldn’t tease. Maybe he’d correct him after school if Rell agreed to come hang out with him and a few other friends. Though, not many came by his house- since it was after all the church. He wasn’t sure why… but they just didn’t like it there.
He nodded and looked over to Emmaline, “Well, if you have the same class, you might as well follow the train to the next stop.” he commented. Mostly implying that since three of them already had the same class by chance, it was a large group of pre-made friends. He hadn’t seen Emmaline in the class, but who knows. Maybe he just hadn’t noticed her. Lamento pulled his bag over his shoulder, beckoning Rell and Devin to follow him to class. And Emmaline too if she had the same class.
This was just a disaster waiting to happen… Knowing Lamento, he didn’t listen to the rules of the school often. He carried a knife, he skipped classes, he rarely turned in his work, and never returned books from the library (His caretaker does that whenever they get a call with an angry librarian on the other end), and he didn’t listen to the teachers or the principle unless it was critical for him to stay. Since his caretaker wished him to stay in school.
