”My name? …Just call me Flash”, Barry said hesitantly, refusing to share his real identity. He looked at the illusionist, feeling something heavy on his heart. ”It sounds like you’re a little lost… but so were my teammates before we met each other. It was something we all had in common, something that united us. And now we’ve been friends for so many years I’ve lost count.”

Cywren looked up at him in slight disbelief. Maybe it's time....Maybe I can....Maybe I can't.... Her own thoughts made her flinch, still holding his gaze. "I just....I'm not sure if I know anything anymore, really." She admitted.

”You may feel like that now”, the man told with a warm smile, ”But it will get better. I promise.” He then yawned and and placed his hand on a counter so he wouldn’t fall. Still facing the girls, he laughed and tilted his head, ”Can I have some?”, he asked referring to the Oreos.

Cywren found herself giving a slight smile in response, before commenting once more on the Oreos. "What is so good about those things, anyways?" She asked, seeing as how she didn't like them, but from what Flash had said, they were supposedly the "best cookies in existence".

"Yes, you can have some." Artemis said with a giggle as she handed the tray of cookies to the man. "Don't eat them all at once." She teased; as she knew that was probably impossible for him not to do.

”I would if I was able to”, Barry said as his smile faded a bit and then took the tray into his hand, ”But oh well, I guess it’s good to enjoy of these at least once in a lifetime.” He leaned against the counter to free his other hand, which he then used to shove the cookies in his mouth. After few bites, his smile returned, ”…As good as I remembered. Or, as good as something simple like cookies can be.”

Cywren had positioned herself in the counter corner, and practically rolled her eyes. "It makes no sense, they're just cookies!" She still didn't get why he liked them so much, but at least he admitted that they were simple.

”They’re not just cookies for me”, Barry explained and returned his gaze to Cywren, but only momentarily, ”They’re filled with memories. I used to buy these a lot when KF was still… a kid.”

"Hah. But who's KF?" Was the question Cywren had, as she cocked her head to the right slightly. The illusionist understood the memory part, although it was hard for her to actually remember a good thing.

”Oh right, you haven’t met him yet”, Barry laughed and took a bite of a Oreo, ”He’s my protege. And he’s probably the most adorable little dork you’ll ever meet. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was still sleeping.” The man finished the cookie and then lowered his gaze, ”He’s almost like a son to me.”
