You could easily tell he was trying not to cry again when he mentioned the names Berwald and Peter. "I miss Berwald and Peter greatly. Berwald was very important to me. He understood my troubles and always comfort me. He may not seem like a good guy because of his scary face but he is really a sweetheart. And Peter, my adopted son...." He stopped talking and looked at the ground not wanting to speak any more.

Cecil blinked and he walked around the building it was far to good looking for his taste. It was nothing like the old eroded buildings of Night Vale, he didn't even think the Water front, which absolutely didn't exist and wasn't an entire waist of money for the town that was in the middle of a desert, looked this good. It was odd for him to see trees and a lake. He had never seen such a thing before now. Oh sure he had heard of things like soft grasses, huge piles of water, and trees that grew larger than a blood stone door. He then started worrying getting lost in his own thoughts, what was the town going to do without him, what would station management do to him for this unnoted leave of absence. He couldn't loose his job at the Radio Station! No one else in town could handle it like he could. And what about Carlos. Well it wasn't like he could- Cecil was knocked out of his head when he bumped into someone.

the young girl looked awfully confused. was she doing something that made the other nervous? was it her appearance? ah, well, yes. she could understand that. ayumi had been out late last night being guided by that awfully good cosplayer and sleepyhead girl and had managed to trip over. her left sock was muddy and her skirt had dirt all over it. hell, it looked like she had been sleeping in mud.

brushing herself down to make herself more presentable, ayumi frowned. "well. class rep. has a duty of care, of course i care." she hummed, before shaking her head lightly.

"well, no. i don't have to, of course. but there's nothing saying i can't be nice to you, is there." ayumi pointed out, before holding out her hand towards the young girl. "it's nice to meet you, touko-chan. would you like a glass of water? it may help calm you down."

ah, im sorry about ayumi being probably ooc,
but there isnt much interaction out of the
heavenly high school so i dont really know how
she would act in a normal situation like this.

Touko's hard shaking subsided into a bit of a nervous quivering, and she continued picking under her nails, though not as hardly as before. She was starting to feel a bit more relaxed around this girl, but she still had her suspicions. As she noticed the girl trying to fix her appearance, she shook her head. "I don't care much for appearances...after all, they said that mine wasn't good enough..." her voice slowly got quieter until it was a barely audible mouthing of the words. A confused emotion made her realize how erratically her heart was beating, and she clasped a hand over her chest. The mention of being a class representative sent her over the edge a bit. "So you're j-just being nice to me because you have to, huh? So you d-d-d-don't ruin your status...I see." Touko narrowed her eyes and sneered, becoming more panicky and shaky.
But as Ayumi said something along the lines of her kindness not pertaining to her status, Touko settled down once more. She was never fully calm, never fully trusting. "So-sorry..." she then quickly said, avoiding eye contact because of her fierce accusation.
As Ayumi held her hand out, she wasn't sure if she was to take it or not. She made the motion as if she was going to, but quickly drew back with a quiet whimper. "I-I hope it's nice...a-and...nice to meet you too..." Touko stated with a bit of hesitation, "S-sure...as long as it doesn't cause you too much trouble...and if it's convenient..." she sighs, a very small smile coming over her face.

She listened as he spoke about Berwald and Peter, feeling empathy. She could tell he didn't want to talk anymore and was about to cry so she thought quickly. "Well, we'll just have to defeat the demon on this island and get back home. I have my bow and arrows with me so I should at least be able to gravely harm it." She told him, counting how many arrows she had mentally.

Asuna swore she felt a pair of eyes on her and turned to see a pretty girl with white hair and blue eyes. She looked the girl over with suspicion then smiled. She waved to her then turned and kept going.

"I would of had my rifle on me but.... It's gone missing." The Finnish man sighed again. He couldn't believe he had lost everything and he didn't know how long it would take to defeat the creature who captured them here.

Takashi bounded in the door of the hotel-like building with his distorted eyes wide. He was unsure of all these new things, but it seemed pretty nice here. Maybe he would make new friends! And with all hope he wouldn't have to use his powers or even think about the aspects here. It was too quiet and peaceful for that. He looked around, wondering who he could talk to first. So many new friends, so little time for the poor host!

Erik leaped backwards, cape fluttering and eyes wide, in startlement as he felt someone else walk straight into him. He silently cursed himself for being unobservant enough to let this happen. He cleared his throat and righted himself from his crouching and fearful position. He straightened his back and analyzed this stranger's presence without a word, deciding that this building would have to wait. He cocked his head, mask shining gently, thinking only about how he could handle this situation in order to leave to a position of safety.

He took a full step back fixing his platinum blond hair. "You must have been brought here too," he looked over him with his dark chocolate colored eyes and held out his hand. "My name is Cecil Palmer."
