Eddie was startled by such a sudden motion and such a sudden greeting the very moment he entered. He made a strange face, but said nothing initially, keeping a tall, rigid posture. "Well, hello." He said, in his typical disconnected tone of voice, taking a few cautious steps forward. "Pleased to meet you, sir." He added out of politeness, looking around out of the corners of his eyes to see if there was anyone else here. He certainly had questions for the residents of this place, but they might just have to wait.

Erik pressed his back to the building, fearful and uncertain, and debated whether or not he could scale it. And even if he could've, who was to say that there was anywhere to go from there? Well, he wouldn't know if he didn't look around at the very least. He bounded around the outside of the building with long, swift strides, his eyes analyzing the architecture of the place. Mundane, at the very least. Square, linear. It was doubtful that the inside was much more interesting. But it probably had other entrances, besides the windows, a backdoor or something. A latch to the basement, an unvisited room somewhere. As long as he wasn't seen from the outside.
