With a slight frown, Oliver considered what Fenrir had to say about his family's magic. "So, they are learned abilities..." He voiced, a bit surprised by that new bit of information. Oddly enough, he hadn't considered that possibility. He'd simply assumed that it was all something inherited. A gene, if you will. If it was something harnessed by it's user, however, then that could bring about a new set of complications to HYDRA's plans. "Do you need to be alive to..." He trailed off, choosing his words a bit more carefully. "What I mean is, if one of your kin were killed by us, would their magic dissipate, or would it remain running through their veins for a while after?" He asked, not wishing to imply that they'd kill Fenrir. He was far more useful to them as a trained mutt, rather than as a test subject. "It should be obvious at this point that HYDRA is aiming to extract and weaponize whatever it is that your kind has." He hummed, giving Fenrir a rather pointed look. "Super soldiers are so... outdated. We can have our very own little army of 'gods' now. Of course, live specimens have proven difficult to keep." The agent's voice sounded mildly irritated for a moment, though it quickly faded. "It would be easier to just cull a few and harvest whatever we can in order to study and replicate it." Oliver said with a shrug, his tone of voice so very nonchalant considering the rather grisly subject matter. As his eyes trailed back down toward Slepnir, he pursed his lips slightly. Regardless, this one wouldn't die. He still fancied the idea of having his very own living tank. Who was this Yur... Your... Jorm... thing that Fenrir spoke of, though? Perhaps they could hunt down that one.

Carter carefully held out one of his hands for the canine to sniff. He wasn't overly worried about being bitten. Even if the dog decided to snap, the blonde's abilities would kick in and allow him to stop time long enough to lurch backwards. In all honesty, however, he didn't really thing that the pup was going to bite him. Prydwen just didn't look like the type to suddenly freak out. Maybe that was just Carter's lack of experience talking, though. "Alright, this is really against protocol, but I'm not just kicking you out. You probably have someone looking for you." He voiced, though based on Prydwen's scruffy exterior, Carter honestly doubted that he was anyone's lost beloved pet. He also really had no idea why he avoided saying such things to a dog, though. It's not like the animal could understand him. He stood, glancing around a few more times before patting his leg in a 'come here' manner while taking a few steps toward the hall. A few people were giving him and the dog odd looks at this point and Carter just wanted to get the animal somewhere safe before figuring out what on earth he was going to do with the poor thing.

Loki Odinson

Chasing after HYDRA alone now, after what Loki had learned about them and who they had on their side, was a bad idea. A very reckless idea. A very Thor-like idea that Loki, despite wanting to, was not about to act upon. It would do no good to jump into action only to be subdued by Fenrir. As much as he didn't like to admit it, his wolfish son was physically stronger than he was. That was something which he unfortunately had to take into consideration before even attempting to deal with HYDRA. Away from prying eyes, having left Fury's office shortly after ensuring that Harley wasn't going to bleed out, Loki slid down to the floor of a dimly lit and seemingly deserted hallway, his back against the wall and his head in his hands. He literally had no idea what to do. No one would help him. Norns, he'd even attempted to reach out to Thor, but was informed that his brother was unavailable for contact. Guilt was quickly consuming him. This was his fault. By allowing Evelyn and Fenrir to escape with Oliver, he'd basically allowed for Sleipnir to be kidnapped in the process. He hadn't known it would happen, of course, but that shouldn't matter. If he'd just remained loyal for once in his Norns forsaken life, then his eldest son wouldn't have been abducted by the enemy again.
