Loki Odinson
Location: Streets of New York | Tags: Skye & Jormungandr & Angela & Draugr
Even though he'd managed to shield his child from being hit the first time, once the barrier that Loki created had crashed, the Jotun was unable to create another quickly enough to protect Jormungandr the second time an attack was fired at them. "Stop!" Loki shouted over the noise once he realized that the Draugr was under Angela's control. "Call off your beast! We've not harmed anyone!" He claimed, though that wasn't exactly true. Jormun had swallowed a van and it's inhabitants just moments before and he himself had slaughtered at least a dozen or so HYDRA agents, but they'd deserved it! Loki didn't know if Angela would listen to him, though. He was hardly the most trustworthy of beings, after all. But perhaps his sister might believe him, despite the overturned cars and lifeless bodies scattered around the scene not painting the serpent and himself in a very favorable light.
As soon as Loki's eyes landed on the golden weapon which Angela held threateningly within her hand, he silently materialized a lengthy dagger within his own. The Jotun's other hand was kept free in case he needed to use his seidr against the Draugr once more. Jormungandr was coiling around him, his poor wounded child attempting to protect him against the monster and it's master, but Loki was fully prepared to defend Jormun against them, too. "Unless you desire a massacre, Angela, I suggest that you put your weapon away." Loki warned, traces of threat within his tone. He felt livid after seeing the full extent of Jormun's burns, and while he didn't want to harm any of the civilians in this city, he would not place their safety above his son's. If it came down to it, he'd allow Jormungandr to attack the Draugr rather than continue to take hits, despite the possibility of human lives being lost in the crossfire.

Nick Fury
Location: SHIELD headquarters | Tags: Evelyn & Christian
Though Fury didn't wish to admit it, Evelyn was probably right. Their own scientists likely wouldn't be able to do much to naturally quell Evelyn's powers. While they had conducted studies on some of their Inhuman agents, their methods had been non-invasive and the participants voluntary. Results from those studies were unlikely to hold any information that could help Evelyn. There had been a devise developed for use on Loki that would've suppressed his powers, but that had been created with Asgardian tech. That probably wouldn't work on Evelyn, either. "If Oliver was dead, someone would've reported it by now." He told her, and it wasn't just wishful thinking on his part. If one of his agents had shot Oliver down before he'd been able to get the message out that the HYDRA agent was needed alive, someone would've immediately informed him of it. The guy was alive and somewhere within the base. They'd find him. "If he gives us any trouble when we find him, or if we think that a cure is going to take too long to figure out, then we can put you in one of our blocking cells temporarily... Until we can sort it out." The director assured her, quite confidently. When Evelyn asked him to tell Loki that she was sorry when he next saw the trickster, however, Fury's eye narrowed slightly. "You can tell him that yourself." He replied, suspicion evident within his tone. She'd better not be planning to do something foolish.

Mark Delaney
Location: SHIELD headquarters | Tags: Akira & Fenrir & Skoll & Haati
Mark shook his head. Sleipnir had human-level intelligence. Alien or not, HYDRA had no right to "gift" him to anyone. He didn't comment on it, though, not really wishing to get into the morality of HYDRA's actions. None of what they did was right. This was just yet another shining example of their sick superiority complex. Mark had been thinking about what else he might be able to ask Fenrir, but the agent's eyes flashed when the shapeshifter mentioned his "pick up" being there. Mark knew exactly what that meant, and he stood at the same time as Fenrir had, glaring daggers at the creature. "Sit back down." He growled in warning. The agents who'd brought Fenrir into the interrogation room had tensed and were drawing their guns. "If you care about your kids at all, then you'll cooperate with SHIELD." He stated. "HYDRA isn't going to offer you anything aside from cruelty, and eventually that cruelty is going to be shown to them, too." Mark didn't doubt for a second that HYDRA would eventually try to exploit Skoll and Haati in some way. Probably try to train them up... Gain two more brainwashed hounds to do their bidding.

Beth Morgan
Location: Streets of New York | Tags: Tobias
"I'm trying." Beth replied, weaving in and out of traffic in order to place more distance between them and the serpent. Driving in Manhattan was always pretty awful, but now the streets were even more clogged and chaotic. With a frustrated sigh, she turned their vehicle into the back of another, pushing the abandoned car out of the way and turning into yet another alleyway. Thankfully, the next block over was a bit more clear. Driving from than on out was still pretty much a mess, but at least they were moving. Once they made it to the SHIELD base, Beth turned into their vast parking garage and pulled into the very first spot available. "Well, that could've gone better." She said with a slight shake of her head before exiting the vehicle and waiting for Tobias to do the same.
