Loki followed Skye away from the crowd. He did not bother to keep his head down, quite sure that some of those around them had already snapped photos of them. Judging by the looks that he was given by some as he passed them by, he also didn't doubt that he had been recognized. The thought didn't thrill nor worry him as much as it once had. He simply shoved his way past them and continued walking. "Would you mind letting me know where it is that we are going?" Loki asked once they were somewhat away from the crowd. While he did not fear a handful or mortals, he also didn't want a crowd of idiotic humans knocking on the door of where ever Skye was heading, believing that they could single handedly take down the alien who attacked New York. He absentmindedly placed a hand over his side. It was no longer bleeding, but was still open. He apparently did not heal as quickly as Skye when placed under a bit of stress.

"Wherever we want that's away from humans, a few of them are hunting my kind, Lincoln, he's safe in S.H.I.E.L.D but, I dunno" she said with a shrug, she didn't want idiotic humans knocking on her door either. But at least she could handle a few, knock them away gently, and act like an angry mother if it was a couple of kids who were curious, if they were neighbors it would be fine but, she still wasn't sure.

Loki did not fear humans. They were an irritant, but their mortal bodies were quite easy to defeat, even in droves. His only concern was that those who found him would be capable of informing SHIELD of his location. He did not want anyone tracking him again. With a sigh, Loki glanced toward Skye as she spoke of certain humans hunting her, as well. He wasn't overly surprised. Even the Aesir had their qualms about the Inhumans, though he really couldn't care less about Asgardian affairs anymore. "I don't care where it is that we seek shelter." He responded, though the statement weren't exactly true. He would not go with her to SHIELD, if that were her intent. Someplace where he had access to food and an adequate bed would also be preferable, as he hadn't eaten or slept properly in several days. "Though, I'd prefer to remain within the city." He added as an afterthought, his eyes revealing a hint of sadness for just one moment before disappearing behind his mask of indifference. No, he could not bring himself to leave the city.

Skye quirked a brow but nodded, she'd thought that he'd still wanted to leave but apparently she was wrong. She looked around and saw a building, it looked ordinary but something told her that there was food there, then she remembered the Motel room that Loki had found her in, it was still hidden from Thor because she'd ducked into another building entirely, That had been quite a few blocks away from the one they had hidden in, It was still secret, and only Loki knew about it. "We can go back to my place, the one that you first went to, We went into one of my Decoys before, but the one you first went to, My home, your the only one that knows about it, and I have food and Tea there." Skye told him.

Loki had noticed the quirk of her brow and gave Skye a condescending look of his own, one that wordlessly stated that he had his reasons for wishing to stay, though he certainly wouldn't be discussing it with her. He barely knew her, and therefore his private life was none of her business. Since she did not question it, however, he also gave a nod of his own once she suggested heading back to their previous location. Fair enough. The motel that Skye had invited him to before wasn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but it was hardly the worst place that he'd been forced to stay in recent years. "Very well. Lead the way, then." He agreed. Though he had a fairly decent sense of direction and felt that he would have been capable of finding his own way back to the motel, after all of their running and dodging while fleeing from Thor, he wasn't entirely confident in his knowledge of their current location within the city. So, rather than embarrass himself by heading off in the wrong direction, he supposed that he would have to swallow his pride for a moment and allow himself to be led.

As they continued onward, Loki glanced up as the tall silhouette of Stark tower came distantly came into view. Though it weren't very close, Loki could still see that the letters 'Stark' had been replaced with a single large 'A', and he scoffed. "Your Avengers aren't ones for subtlety, are they?" He asked, though it were more of a statement than an actual question. "There are humans who hunt your kind because they feel that you are dangerous, and yet they are free to advertise their location." He said with another glance toward the extravagant tower. "It doesn't exactly seem fair, now does it?" He asked, a slight glint within his eyes as he attempted to use the privilege that the Avengers indulged in to chip away at Skye's loyalty to SHIELD. Because he knew that she was still loyal to her employers, and he was determined to snuff that bit of faithfulness out of her.

"Meh, they're them, besides, the way I see Stark is that he's entirely full of himself, he has his own tower, plus, as Fury and Simmons say, they've saved the world, more then once." She said closing her eyes, she listened to her power before she opened them and followed where it directed, "That, and none of them are InHumans like Lincoln and I are," she as she continued walking, turning a few corners she headed away from the tower and in the direction of her place.

"One of them is a laboratory experiment, and another is a lab accident." Loki argued, his eyes leaving the tower just before it slid out of view as their little trek progressed. "They are nothing special." He added quietly, a hint of bitterness within his tone. He could understand the unfairness of heritage. Inhumans were seen as weapons. Jotuns were seen as monsters. The ancestry that he could not control had set his path in stone. No one could ever view him as anything other than potentially dangerous. "Origin stories aside, however, have you not participated in your fair share or 'world saving', as well?" He asked with a raise of an eyebrow. He knew very little about this woman, but as she were a part of SHIELD, he expected that they had also used her capabilities to their own agenda, which would mean that she had likely been tasked with several 'world saving' assignments while working for them.

"You'd think that but no, I've saved people, after a few years of training, I got to fight against Grant Ward, but most of the time I've been helping a few other InHumans with their transitioning, So's Lincoln, Closest I came to saving anyone was from an attack, while I was training in a place called afterlife, my mom set an attack on S.H.I.E.L.D, I stopped it and saved them, but mostly we just track down Hydra and take them down." She said walking up to the building that her apartment was in.

Loki didn't know who Grant Ward was, unaware that he had actually just recently crossed paths with him. However, he did know who Hydra was, having heard of them from Barton while the Hawk had been under his control. If it weren't for their recent attack on SHIELD, he would have assumed that Hydra were no longer active. "Ah, yes. Hydra. I will be forever indebted them." He said with a slight smirk, briefly glancing toward Skye to see whether or not her reaction would be one of distaste at his apparent connection to the terrorist group. He soon clarified his position, however. "Their little assault on SHIELD's base allowed me to escape." Loki explained once they reached the door to the building which they had approached. That was the full extent of his interaction with them. It hadn't even been intentional on their part. If they had known about him being held captive there, they likely would have attempted to 'steal' him, rather than set him free.

Grant Ward sat on a bench near the building, well actually the one next door, he didn't know that Skye had been staying here, If he did he'd have waited inside, though he still didn't know which apartment was here, he slipped in front of her, "Skye, looks like we're neighbors, care to welcome me to the..." He started before his arm was twisted painfully behind his back and his face slammed into the wall.

"You come near me again and you will find yourself flying from my roof, do you understand me? We aren't friends, we aren't teammates, and you tried to kill FitzSimmons, you don't want to mess with me" Skye warned putting more pressure on his arm. Once she got a hint of a nod she shoved him away from the door, passed Loki, making sure the idiot only brushed up against his uninjured side and not having him hit the Trickster full force.

"I thought I was, seeing as we both have powers," Grant Ward said catching himself.

"Not anymore, I choose my team, you were temporary, to see how you'd get along with the others, you don't, You don't know how to take orders from someone who isn't Garrett," Skye pointed out.
