Fitz hadn't really thought anything of Skyler peering into the lab behind him. If the woman had a general interest in science, then a lab filled with some of the best equipment available would undoubtedly pique her curiosity, and as well as that, he was still assuming that she was an agent of SHIELD. Therefore, why shouldn't she have a glimpse at their work? As long as she didn't barge in and start touching everything, he had no problem with it. When Skyler took a startled step back after looking into the lab, however, Fitz quickly turned around in order to hopefully see what was the matter. Had something gone wrong? His eyes fell on Bobbi, but nothing appeared to be out of the ordinary. She was only working on replicating the serum which Fury had wanted. He frowned in confusion and glanced between Skyler and Bobbi with a look of utter bewilderment. "What's wrong?" he asked, quite puzzled.

Carter Eilian Tags: Lewis | Harley

Carter felt relieved to hear that the four of them were on the same page. He definitely felt that finding the source of whatever was causing these hallucinations would be the best first-step in figuring out how to put an end to it. Between himself, Lewis, Harley, and Beth, he was sure that they'd be able to find it, and with how brilliant SHIELD's doctors and scientists were, Carter was also fairly certain that a cure could be found in no time. The blonde briefly pressed his eyelids together as the throbbing within his head cegan to increase. The sooner that they figure this out, the better.

Mark Delaney Tags: Zack

For a moment, it very much appeared as if the two thugs would try their luck as taking on Mark and Zack. After all, Zack was only a teenager and Mark was obviously a little worse for wear from the previous fight which he had been involved with. However, they seemed to think better of it, peering at Zack's arrow and Mark's gun with an uneasy expression. Only one of the thugs was armed with a weapon, and it was nothing more than a pathetic-looking 3 inch pocket knife. After a few tense moment, the two men fled the scene as quick as they possibly could. "You did good, man." Mark commented once the thugs were well out of earshot. "Ever think about using your talents for something bigger?" He asked, implying that he could see Zack someday working for SHIELD. " I mean, no offense. If you really enjoy the whole 'vigilante' gig, then more power to you. I'm just saying... there might be more options out there for you."

Loki Laufeyson Tags: Natasha | Clint | Wanda

As the Black Widow slid down the rope in order to meet him, Loki was reminded of a spider spinnereting down from it's web. He did not bother trying to hide his grin. It was only Romanoff. No one else, and Loki felt that he would be able to take her down in an instant if she were without the help of her fellow Avengers. Creating three more clones, Loki sent all five charging toward Natasha. As they were merely illusions, the clones could not hurt her, but they always did tend to work quite well as simple distractions. While the clones made their way toward Natasha, Loki moved along behind, and when they made to swarm Natasha as if in a motion of attack, the real Loki struck out with the blunt end of his scepter, intending to nail Romanoff in the stomach with it.

Skye stepped out from behind a plane and thorough one of Loki's clones, seeing that Natasha was in danger she sent a wave of Vibration his way, she knew she'd be able to hit him because she had before, she saw the other clones disappear as the wave of Vibration hit them.

The hard vibration caused Loki to falter, his strike missing Natasha by a mere inch. He growled in frustration when he also realized that it had prompted his clones to disappear, leaving only himself. He whipped around to face the source of the vibration, the gem within his scepter glowing a brighter blue and thrumming loudly before Loki abruptly fired it off, sending a violent blast of magic toward Skye. Not forgetting that Natasha was now behind him though, he spun sharply and struck at her with the bladed part of his staff. It would be difficult to keep both Romanoff and the Inhuman within his line of vision, but Loki had been trained for this sort of combat from a very young age. He felt that he could manage.

Skye saw the blue bolt of energy flying towards her and she threw up her hands by instinct, "I should've known that the line that you were going to start over and be a good person for your girl was bull," she said irritated as the bolt stopped inches from her. Burning her a little but not enough to stop her, she walked towards him her eyes narrowed, before she shot another wave of her powers at him.

Those plans were no longer an option for him, though. He and Evelyn had grown distant, and Loki had to wonder if SHIELD's near constant torment of them had prompted such a change in behavior. He couldn't blame her for no longer wishing to spend time with someone who literally attracted violence where ever he went, and nor did he really want for this sort of life to be her's. After swiping the scepter toward Skye's legs in an attempt at knocking her down, Loki used his other hand which was not currently preoccupied with holding the scepter to send a more raw blast of magic throughout the immediate area to knock away anyone else who tried to approach.

Skye heard her daughter as she hit the ground and kicked out at him, glaring at the Norse God.
Sam tumbled backwards too, but stay silent.

Skyler blinked slowly, but the room did not return to normal. In fact, the halls shifted too, and what had been the brightly lit halls of SHIELD morphed to the much dimmer corridors of the Hydra facility. That was enough for the breath to catch in her throat. The last thing she wanted was to go back there.

Logically, Skyler knew that halls can't just change. Which left her with a couple of options.

a). she was dreaming
b). She was in a simulator of some kind
c). She was hallucinating

None of those options were particularly appealing.
The scientist's voice cut through her thoughts, and she peered cautiously at him, as if he might change at any second too. "Hey, what color are the walls?" She asked hesitantly. His answer might help her determine what was going on.

Zack watched the thugs run off. "I'll probably end up seeing those two in a couple of days," the teen commented, knowing that criminals tended to keep on being criminals even if they had a close call.

"Something bigger? I've thought about it, yeah." He had thought about it, on multiple occasions. Joining some official agency, or a team or something. "But, the opportunity hasn't really arisen." As far as he knew, there weren't any agencies out recruiting city vigilantes to join super hero teams.

Natasha instantly scowled as Loki had the audacity to send Lizzy flying . She fired several shots his way before pulling out her throwing knifves. Tasha knew she had to protect the children reguardless of the outcome .

Skyler almost appeared to be on the verge of a small panic attack, and that caught Fitz off guard. What could have been the trigger? They were only speaking casually, and there was currently nothing within the lab that he would have considered to be overly odd or frightening. Her question only confused him further, and he glanced around at the walls for a moment as if expecting to see them change. No, they were still your typical run-of-the-mill sterile white laboratory walls. Not too bright and jarring, but certainly not dark. "Um... white?" He answered Skyler, looking at her with concern. The walls were obviously white, so why was she asking such a question? "Are you okay? Your complexion is paling quite a bit..."

"Common criminals don't tend to be the brightest of people. I wouldn't be surprised if they gather their buddies and try to have a go at you eventually." Mark commented when Zack mentioned possibly seeing those two in a few days. No, he wouldn't have been surprised by it at all. If they knew where Mark lived, he was sure that they'd like to have a go at him, too, but that obviously wasn't going to happen. The agent gave a slight shrug. "SHIELD is always looking for new recruits. You'd have to train up a bit, but it's probably not as hard to get in as you might be thinking. I mean, you can't expect to become an Avenger on day one, but who knows?" He said with yet another shrug. Take a look at the Maximoff twins. They were the bad guys one day, and super heroes within the next. That was anything but an average case, but SHIELD was still rebuilding, and new recruits weren't an uncommon sight.

Loki hissed as he was kicked and placed one of his booted feet on top of the woman's midsection to pin her to the floor, lifting his scepter over Skye with the intent of bringing it down to stab her through the chest. However, the cry of a child abruptly caught his attention and caused the God to falter. He truthfully hadn't known that there were children near by, and he hadn't meant to hurt them. One of them, a small girl by the sound of it, called to Skye and referred to the Inhuman as being it's mother, and that was enough to make him lower his weapon slightly. As much of a monster as everyone considered him to be, Loki wasn't about to murder a child's mother directly in front of them. He was not that cruel.
Momentarily distracted by the revelation that there were children being caught in his crossfire, Loki did not see Natasha approaching, and he inhaled sharply as two bullets struck him in the back. He whipped around to face Natasha, staggering a bit as he took a few steps away from Skye. A hit like that would have quickly killed a regular human being, but the durability of Loki's body saved him from such a fate. It didn't mean that being shot hurt any less, though, and a sweat had broken out on Loki's brow as he fought off the urge to cry out in pain. Seeing Romanoff draw a set of throwing knives, Loki materialized a small silver one of his own and swiftly threw it toward her.

Liz ran from her hiding spot and fell to her knees tears falling, "You okay Mommy?" She asked, when she got a nod from her before she looked up and saw Loki moving to hurt the nice red head. Backing up she stood Telekinetic energy bursting from her hands, "No hurt Tasha" Liz shouted as the Telekinesis flew towards Loki.

Skye rolled to her hands and knees, before seeing Liz strike out at Loki.
